Dear Sweet Jesus, I think I have a brain meld with Ann Coulter. Finally, someone remarks on this insanely annoying tic - or is it the product of an outright memo - besetting every Biden mouthpiece: "We've been perfectly clear on this..." [an apparent effort to admonish a questioner with the suggestion that everyone else knows the answer to your silly question but, checks watch, smirks, because I'm a patient professional mouthpiece I'll announce our position - once again].

Or, "Let me be perfectly clear", which by now clearly denotes in the Cant of Geriatric cum Hebephrenic Angry Black Woman [Ya, I'm thinking both Kammie and KJP] yes, the batshit decision/policy/calumny/unfettered lie about which you inquire is one we proudly embrace - a tactic apparently conceived to dismantle any concerns about legitimacy. This one requires a filibuster or endless cackle to quash the followups that would otherwise eviscerate the argument.

So, yeah. Good catch on the "We've been clear" thing. Been riding under my saddle for years, now.

Denial. Intellectualization. Projection. Alinsky. And, oh yeah, statisticians willing to sell a soul. So many tools in the kit. So accurately foretold by one Eric Arthur Blair. God, I have such roiling contempt for them.

Fox News and everyone else [except all the MSM] is telling everyone who will listen [nobody] that Trump did not block that stupid immigration bill to have something to run on. MSM keeps on saying this and anything they want...to defeat Trump.

I just WISH they would set the record straight. Wouldn’t be in this situation if it weren’t for Lankford. Can’t Oklahoma do better?

100% Lankford. He's my Senator. I'm so livid about that turncoat little twit. Don't forget they sat on that bill's disclosure until 48 hours ante the absolute deadline for a vote - and as one of its three authors, this little fop had to be on board with that call. Don't get me started about his office ignoring my lather 15 months ago about www.antifa.com . I had a guy lined up to explain to them how to fix this. A no-brainer. His office couldn't be bothered.

It's these stories and their dozens of iterations that have so red- and black-pilled me. None of it is consistent with a government that shares my American values.

A friend has pointed it that deep blue states elect very left wing Senators because they can, but you never see the opposite in deep Red states

I am amazed that many do not know what has actually transpired on Immigration over the last 7.5yrs President Biden did "do away with" all of Trump's border protection orders on day one.

FLASHBACK, 2021: DHS Secretary Mayorkas Brags About Rescinding "Too Many Trump Immigration Policies To List"

FLASHBACK, 2021: DHS Secretary Mayorkas Brags About Rescinding "Too Many Trump Immigration Policies To List"

Here is what was introduced to Congress in 2021, Biden/Harris First year, a duplicate bill was introduced in the Senate. Remember that the Democrats held the majority in the House and Senate, Biden was also President. For TWO YEARS the Democrats could have passed any legislation they wanted. They prioritized the massive spending that led to inflation. Love this point of the bill, "Discontinue the word “alien” in the Immigration and Nationality Act and replace it with the word “noncitizen.”The Bill was a Citizenship Bill not a Border bill. Hence the name :

The bill sat in both houses, again controlled by Democrats.

When Republicans took control of the House in 2023, In May of 2023 the passed HR 2, also known as Secure the Border Act 2023,It was an ACTUAL TOUGH Border Bill. After Passing the House, It has Sat in the Democrat/Shumer led Senate, without debate or a vote.

Here is a link to the much discussed "Bi Partisan Bill , that truth be told did not pass the Democrat Led Senate, the first vote in February2024 was 49-50 and the last vote was 43-50 in May 2024 , 6 Democrats voted against the Bill.

Yes, it is a shadow amnesty bill at best. The bill provided money to hire people to process claims quicker basically said it was OK to allow 5000 people a day through the border illegally. If China wanted to invade the country, they should just send a million or so unarmed soldiers to the Biden/Harris border. They could walk right in and get jobs working for Democrat politicians...

I thought it was a disaster for her. Obfuscating, defensive, befuddled, angry. One of the worst interviews I have seen.

But her sycophantic minions (mass media included) spun the take that she was TOUGH! TOUGH enough to lead the world.

Of course the gloss over her main campaign mantra “Trump bad” “Trump- danger to democracy” & praise her like Jill did Joe after his debate debacle (treated him as a pre-schooler).

Once again Ann makes it clear why holding the nose and voting trump is necessary

To hear the media (and Democrats generally) describe it, Kamala schooled Bret Baier. She went into the "lion's den" and took it to him. But, if anyone takes anything away from this interview once it is a few weeks in the rearview mirror, it will be that Kamala was angry and combative. Maybe there is a bit of a double standard for men and women on this behavior. In this case, I don't care if it dooms the cacklepuss to defeat.

I’m so happy you understand immigration law and state it so well.

None of the 3rd world dumped on us warrants asylum. It’s criminal what this administration is doing. It is criminal what obama did. The only point I would add is persecution referred to in the law is that of government persecution on the stated grounds. If one’s tribe hates another because the other has more cows in their herd, that’s not our problem. Same way with first country genuine asylum seekers are afforded protection in. They are all just asylum ‘shoppers’.

But the law doesn’t matter anymore.

The words exiting Kamala’s mouth…..always sound like they are slowly being dragged out against their will. If “Kamala Splaining”, was an olympic sport she certainly would earn a gold medal.

Thank you Ann. To me it is only clear how much she does not like the USA, didn’t really like her middle class upbringing, and her dinners at the White House with Biden left her as confused as he was about making a decision in the best interest of the American citizens and our country.

How can Kamala be clear on anything when her answer to everything starts with, " Yes, that's true, but Trump..."?

Expand full comment

My last thought on this - promise - is Brett Baier is feckless. I don't care that he pressed her here, pressed her there. That he wholly bolloxed that Trump video clip is a silver platter: it's being misconstrued as a deception that she was acute enough to bust him on. How in the living (*&% you show up for this interview and make this rookie mistake. I'm not a fan of anyone at Fox but maybe the former Congressman Trey Gowdy.

Are most Americans detestable?

The level of consciousness is sinking so fast I can actually feel it, plus you have to keep apologizing for having an IQ over 100.

I don’t get out much so I don’t know the answer to the question above, but here’s what I’m thinking: maybe Americans are so low they deserve Kamala and we need to applaud them for voting for their own demise since they are a hazard to life on this planet.

I love Ann's insights on immigration but she needs more range beyond this single issue.

I'm sure democrat voters are thrilled to see her crumbling under the weight of ONE slightly challenging interview.

I can't wait to see her negotiate with international super-powers and psychotic despots.

She was waiting for weeks to do the "I'm speaking" or whatever line. Remember the Ross Perot "let me finish, let me finish," this should be a SNL parody. I just hope swing voters see this the way we do.

I still fear she might succeed in fooling more than half the voters all of the time with the help of the corporate Democrat media. OMG Ann- That Brinkley comment- I don't remember that one particularly, but I do remember him closing out coverage of something and saying how awful Clinton was and contrasting his lack of character with the character of his colleagues whom he trusted to carry on the legacy etc. It may have been the last "This Week." Brinkley really aired it out on the way out. Isn't it sad that Stephanopoulos wound up being the heir to that spot...
