1- Jeffrey's dead, his #1 partner in crime, G. Maxwell, is in jail, and the FBI Special Agent Mcquire messed up. Did Mcquire intentionally walk away and leave the evidence to be scuried away or was she ignorant? Nonsense. With a case like that, one would have another agent, armed, sitting watch. It's just more stain on the FBI, and dozens of teenagers were exploited by some pretty diabolical, high-ranking, prosperous sex offenders. Kash Patel and Pam Bondi have their work cut out. If they are able to get "the list." Without the evidence that mysteriously disappeared, the offenders will probably walk anyway.
2- What Trumps the gold card. I agree with Ann - money does not equate with integrity. See comments above. Yes, maybe they will bring in money, but what else they carry in with them is danger. And, yes, the total appearance of impropriety is horrible for Trump. Someone needs to whisper in his ear. Maybe Vance will. Otherwise: Vote this down FAST!
3- The President vs Zelenskyy: it was pretty shocking. Z's over-talking to Trump was quite rude. Telling VP Vance to pipe-down was also incredibly insolent. Big loss for Z. The Mainstream Media just blames Trump for all of it, as usual. (Karine Jean-Pierre really needs to get a spot at MSNBC!)
Zelensky’s slap down made my day….finally a Chief Executive with a spine. As far as visas go I would like to see the costs of H2B-Visas increased exponentially. Push the costs up enough that companies are forced to hire US engineers. The HB2 visas are just above indentured servitude.
Thank you Ann for the Five Biggest Stories of the Week. Personally, believe President Trump (and VP Vance) challenged Zelensky in a 100 percent most appropriate manner yesterday. (It bothered me greatly when under the Biden Administration, Zelensky had been allowed into the hallowed halls of our government buildings AND allowed to disrespect the US in such a manner) I agree with the potential vulnerabilities of the Gold Card-as relates to the Chinese. They, too have been given unprecedented (financial) access to our beautiful country. (Via universities, colleges, healthcare)—the free access must be limited and policed. The Epstein case is SICK. Kelly McGuire (sp) is as guilty and accountable as all the vast amount of the wealth investment services of the very wealthy men who did whatever they may have done with underage children. Perhaps, Zelensky thought he could put this over on President Trump. Thank God President Trump stayed strong for the USA.
We cannot turn back time to stop the likes of Victoria Nuland (and people like the Vindmans, one of whom managed to get elected to Congress thanks to the GOPs ineptitude) from pushing the idea of NATO membership for Ukraine or Biden's greenlighting an "incursion." If I were to put together a plan for an end to the war, I would start with a cease fire to end the killing. Then I would ask the Russians to find some truly meaningless territory they hold to offer to give back and keep only what they absolutely must. Perhaps, if possible, get the Russians to agree to hold a plebiscite in this territory five or ten years hence to see if those who live there wish to remain part of Russia. I would tell the Ukrainians (as I think was the plan) they are not getting NATO membership, but Europe and the US will increase their investment and economic presence in Ukraine and these interests will serve as a buffer (some might say trip wire) with Russia creating a disincentive for further aggression. Perhaps some UN peacekeepers could also be included as an additional buffer.
In the long run, as I have said before, we have been shedding blood (and money) for Europe for more than 100 years and guaranteeing its security for the last 80. The Cold War has been over for 35. People like "Herr" Starmer and the WEF people with German accents want to get rid of our free speech and other freedoms and have imported millions of people that are fundamentally transforming their societies and rather than assimilating or deporting these people, they are kowtowing to them. Morons in our own media try to say free speech in Nazi Germany for the holocaust while Europe sells itself out to people who cheered on Nazi Germany then and are not particularly fond of Christians and Jews today. We must find those who in Europe who truly share our values and align with them. If our old allies change course, we should welcome them back but if not, we should not let ourselves go down with their ship.

I cannot remember where or whether it was written or verbal or find it now, but my clear recollection is I found out from somewhere in the media that Epstein, early each morning rang a handful of brokers etc and got a list of traders (ie brokers to investing institutions or the institutions themselves) who were buying that day or over time, large numbers of shares in particular companies and then placed large orders for the same shares and market demand did the rest - a classic form of insider trading. And easy profits!
I have absolutely no factual basis for the following speculation, but I later wondered if they helped Epstein because they had been pleasured guests on Podophile Island?
I only picked this up because I was curious about how such a DH was making so much money. I did not buy the foreign government theory because it sounded too difficult for him to manage.
