Considering the fact that Biden was slurring his way through a Teleprompter's scrolled text, written by his handlers, I find it astonishing that there were so many elementary factual errors that any ten year old Taylor Swift fan could have corrected with her bright pink 'Hello Kitty' smartphone. Apparently the writers (because it undoubtedly was a team effort) feel that they can just spew any nonsense imaginable with no fact-checking at all because their base will believe it, the legacy media will never complain, and nothing else matters when it comes to rewriting history on the fly.
Biden's farewell speech, juxtaposed against your podcast, should be preserved for eternity as Exhibit A of how much Democrats hate America and Americans. The endless focus on diminishing America and American ideals should always be recalled and brought to the fore when Dems try to push their openly anti-American policies and agendas...they just can't help themselves.
Thank you Mary for your exceptionally gracious compliment!
You're probably exactly correct about Joe's hopes, and I am so very thankful that those hopes are entirely irrelevant as to who will succeed President Trump. ;-)
This may change, but the way things look right now, two terms of J.D. Vance after Trump would be just fine with me! :-)
Person? I think some 20 something staffer too busy cleaning out he/she/they/their desk had AI write it and KJP edited it. It had all the hallmarks including erroneous historical references like the Statue of Liberty and the Civil War.
Nice podcast Ann. I think the nominees so far have faired well against the ridiculous non important questions from the Democrats. Especially Hegseth but Bondi also. And your bringing up the State of Liberty that Biden has obviously little to no knowledge. Such a hypocrite as sooo many are. That damn poem by Lazarus that had NOTHING to do with that statue but unfortunately many brain dead Americans also know nothing about. Lastly...Crazy Mazy...at 70 years of age I am still actually stunned at the stupidity we have in our government. Makes me think Hawaii? Hell get rid of it, LOL.
There is always something for everyone on the Ann Coulter podcasts. I loved this podcast in particular. Thank you for putting so many thoughts out there for us to consider!
Biden is slowly being incinerated by the flames, leaving so much destruction behind that will affect our country- maybe forever. I am hoping, as we all are, that Trump and the appointments he has raised will begin to change our downward spiral.
I have been both riveted and, sometimes, amused by the Senators' interviews with the candidates. First, Pam Bondi - almost as Biden said about Obama, she is articulate and bright and clean and nice-looking." haha! What hasn't been said about Bondi, but has been said about Hegseth, is she also had multiple marriages. One lasted just shy of 2 years, the other for 6 years. But I don't really care. I want someone that follows the Constitution and is tough on crime. I want someone that represents America. I don't believe Pam Bondi is the only person in the USA that can do the job, but she comes recommended by smart people that know a whole lot more about legal matters than I do- like Ted Cruz, Ron DeSantis, Rick Scott and even 91 year old Chuck Grassley. I appreciated Ann's remarks about Pam Bondi- okay, the CIA isn't in the line of fire. Teachers lives ARE at risk along with ER nurses and doctors- the first line of defense when someone comes into a hospital. That aside, I greatly appreciated her fire against some of the truly absurd comments that were made to her by Democrat Senators:
To Padilla: "I'm not going to be bullied by you." and " "I'm not here to do your homework and study for you."
To Schiff: "'You were censured for this!"
To Coons, who asked asked "Is President-elect Trump eligible to run for another term . . .."
"No, Senator – not unless they change the Constitution."
To Hirono: "Sen. Hirono, I wish you had met with me. Had you met with me, we could have discussed many things and gotten to –" Hirono implied she only wanted to hear from Pam Bondi "under oath." Unbelievable.
About Pete Hegseth - I agree with you about Pete. He looks like a solid choice! Is the nominee’s Christian conversion real?" Imagine the voice of Tevye: "as the good book says." "On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’" I take him at his word - the rest is up to God. I'm not in the Senate, but I'd vote him in. Like Bondi, Pete Hegseth has solid recommendations and nothing but unnamed gossip detractors. Will Cain, his colleague and friend on Fox & Friends (and an officer of the court), who sat next to him for YEARS supports him!
Finally - about that statue! I reject Emma Lazarus poem, written in 1883. We got the statue in 1884. We got it in pieces. The hand, holding the torch was on display at the Centennial Celebration in Philadelphia in 1886. The statue was eventually assembled, but there was nothing to hold it up!
I reject Joe Biden's critique of the Statue of Liberty's moving. The Statue of Liberty has representation, of course. It was a lovely gift from France, but it's not the Nike of Samothrace, that does look like it just landed on the bow of a ship. (They didn't give us THAT statue.) But here's my point. The Statue of Liberty just stands there in the giant puddle and IS a welcoming sight to anyone that sees her. But there was no BASE, initially, upon which to set up the statue. The POEM helped people raise money to build that pedestal. And everyone sent in their pennies and it was built. The poem was NEVER meant to be a plaque placed on France's gift to us.
Below is a great written history found in the Smithsonian.
"Georgina Schuyler, a friend of hers, (happened upon) a book containing the sonnet in a bookshop and organized a civic effort to resurrect the lost work. Her efforts paid off and in 1903, words from the sonnet were inscribed on a plaque. Her great-grandfather was Alexander Hamilton."
"Covering the May 5, 1903, installation, the New York Times said Schuyler had “revived” Lazarus’ memory. (Lazarus died in 1887 at age 38, likely of cancer.) But previously overlooked archival records underscore that Schuyler did far more than that: She saved the Statue of Liberty from irrelevance at a time when the landmark was widely viewed as no more than a failed, dilapidated lighthouse. In doing so, Schuyler ushered in a new identity for the statue that would come to define it and has endured ever since."
We are far, far and away, worse off now than the day Trump took office in January 2017.
If he fades this time turn out the lights.
But, at least on Monday we can experience the joy the French must have felt when the Reign of Terror ended, when the doughboys stepped onto French soil in 1917 and the GI’s landed at Normandy in 1944.
I’d always get irritated at Pam Bondi when she’d go on the news after a hurricane here in Florida and warn that she would go after gas station owners if they engaged in “price-gouging.” And I’m wary of anyone who does fundraisers hosted by Scientologist donors. But she performed well at the hearing and seems to have the backbone needed to make a good AG. I’m far more concerned with Kristi Noem, who took just two seconds to fold on the issue of males in female sports in her own state. Do we really think she has the wherewithal to withstand Pallywood-levels of histrionic propaganda when the deportations start? Doubtful. Plus, she allegedly had affair with Corey Lewandowski, which they hardly even tried to hide, based on reports of them making out in the open at CPAC a few years ago. Very poor judgment, in my opinion!
Thank you Ann. As much as I would like to say, “Mr. Biden, don’t let the door hit ya on the way out”. As a Christian, I wish him Godspeed on his next journey in life. I thank God he will not be making decisions on behalf of and on the backs of the American citizens anymore.
I love that Pete is so vocal about being saved by Christ and that he and his wife are now working on their marriage under God. Is this not the ideal solution to a marriage in peril as opposed to divorce in a conservative household?
Yet you roll your eyes? Why? Bc liberals wont think he’s very cool?
If Trump feared God more than he fears the left- Oh the possibilities.
Another great podcast, Ann, thank you!

It's who they are.
LOL! Great insight! Poor Joe - probably hoping for 2028. :)

Amen!
On point as always!! Maybe Trump will take that stupid poem off her??
I don’t know who is more clueless Biden believing his farewell speech or the person who wrote it … gezzzzz.
Person? I think some 20 something staffer too busy cleaning out he/she/they/their desk had AI write it and KJP edited it. It had all the hallmarks including erroneous historical references like the Statue of Liberty and the Civil War.
So, if we chisel off the poem, then we can end anchor-baby birthright citizenship?!
I’m in.

I've been mad at Emma Lazarus. Turns out I should have been mad at Georgina Schuyler. ha!
"Give me your tired, your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me . . . ."
Georgina, the wretched refuse should have gone to you!
Right between the eyes!

It’s all about future Democrats which the party elite can govern with unlimited power. Illegal immigration is illegal
Brilliant- loved the ending!
State of Liberty...sometimes the fingers do not work...STATUE of Liberty....geezzz
