4 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
2 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
22 All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Thank you Ann for the stories I may have missed this week. My biggest question is why I may have missed them……. Has social engineering and all things Tik TOKKY, and Instagrammy skewed better our judgment ?. Brainwash.. Another chock full of information segment that I appreciate beyond the space and the words entitled…..🙂 My takeaways: “URL’s live forever”. Yea. In re: the ports of LA. We, the US had better get a move on or our youngest will be waiting in the “happy meal” toy line and wonder why they do not deserve—life, liberty, health and the pursuit happiness…mental health initiative…. ?) Be cautious and careful who signs up to “ help.” Could not agree more with the toothpaste, drywall, dog food analogies of life held hostage. (They eat dogs in China is what I have heard.) NOTE: KRAFT foods has petroleum (jelly)oil in their tasty products. The company is based out of Barack and Michelles’ and their healthcare neighborhood of Glenview IL. I do not support capitalizing or patronizing on blacks .
Generally, I assume most people may have missed these stories - or at least the proper take on them (mine) because they have jobs and hobbies. That's where I come in.
Thank you Ann. I am personally grateful and appreciative to you that you have the courage to be a flamethrower (Buck Sexton description) I am afraid of technology and how it may be used to character assassinate and be used to blur a story. I appreciate the hard line you give and we need at this point in time.
Great stuff as always on Ann's podcasts. I particularly enjoyed the “Maryland Man” Update- why we have to take the "Maryland Man." Nope - keep the "Maryland Man" in El Salvador - just give us the "Marlboro Man." Some of you may remember him from back in the day when advertisements were commonly on TV. Alas, he passed away. Back in 2019. Nope, I'm not advocating smoking - and neither did he. If you're curious and have time, read this obit of sorts:
He died at the age of 90. The article is revealing, and so are the comments below the article - interesting to see how folks were thinking just 5 years ago.
The "tariffs"...like you Ann I am not an economics person but I am willing to see how this turns out. Nobody else was doing anything about it but Dems (especially) think everything was just fantastic. I say let us just wait and SEE...and it will take awhile to know if this is successful or not. A recession? Possibly but many people in this country are obviously terrified at the thought they may have to sacrifice(perhaps they should be given a dictionary on what the word means) and for me they show their true colors of being arrogant entitled Americans. Dems also profess our "democracy" a little too much...the "democracy" they envision is very close to anarchy because many have figured out they can "vote" themselves all kind of program goodies from the Treasury. Isn't that what the Founding Fathers were hoping to avoid, prevent? Constitutional Republic is what we WERE supposed to be, but alas, we have to inform Benjamin Franklin we were not smart enough to keep it!
I think we need to have a discussion about due process (Media, Press etc., to quote the Princess Bride: "You Keep Using That Word, followed by I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It means"). There are varying degrees of due process depending the circumstances - criminal, civil, administrative and also the person or entity being given due process - citizen, legal resident, non-resident, illegal alien. I simply do not think illegals deserve much due process at all. I think the onus is on them provide some evidence they are here legally and if they cannot, they need to be deported. With regard to asylum, first, unless they are from Canada or Mexico, they simply are ineligible if they crossed those borders. Second, I think the law should be that the President be required to name a country as "asylum eligible" before someone claiming asylum is even given a hearing. So if the President declares Cuba asylum eligible and adult Elian shows up on our shores, he would be permitted to make an asylum claim and entitled to process. Even then, vetting must be done to ensure he is not being sent as a spy or for some other purpose hazardous to the interests of the US.
On the issue of China, I am so glad Ann brought up the inferior stuff. How much do we get from there that is inferior? Didn't we get pills with carcinogens (I think it was valsartan with Hydrochlorothiazide). But what else isn't even checked? I had this thought that RFK is going to report at some point that some of things the Chinese produce for our children causes illness or something else. Look at COVID. While I don't think they created it as a weapon, I do think they let it spread to harm us or gain some advantage over us. Anyway, we'll see on that but I would be much happier if our children's toys came from here or at least places that are friends or allies (like the Philippines for example).
Ann failed to mention that the stock market as measured by the S&P 500 has recouped all of its loses since Trump's tariffs were instituted in April 2. Also I don't think it's been emphasized enough that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a citizen of El Salvador where he is imprisoned and as such his due process begins in El Salvador, not the United States. Moreover, has Garcia gone on record saying he wants to come back to the United States? Has anyone asked him?
On the bright side, at least "Texas man" Cherian Abraham didn't ask the woman in the seat next to him to "show bobs." Also, turns out this was not Texas man's first unsought close encounter on a plane.
I wonder if there’s been any reports on the white mom that called a black guy a n word (several times) because a black child stole stuff from her diaper bag…Reddit wants her executed ofc but on GiveSendGo she’s raised nearly $600,000…
When it’s easier for a cave dweller to
Immigrate to the US than a physicist from Sweden there’s a problem.
"Dysgenic" is the perfect word for 3rd World Cultures!
Let's also not forget that to mention that China also gave us the Chestnut Blight.
Which killed off all our beautiful Chestnut trees, and as a result we no longer roast chestnuts on an open fire every Christmas
But Jack Frost still nips at our nose so there is that to be thankful for.

Thanks Ann for your Ricochet podcasts; your delightful voice is always music to my ears!
Your wit and sarcasm and mockery of the woke follies reveal a highly intelligent mind infused with wisdom and the pursuit of truth!
You are the best and I adore you!

The Marlboro Man story is great! Never knew it. Americans are an attractive lot.

I think we can assume he would: More welfare and customers for his human trafficking.

I enjoy the 5 Stories podcasts very much. Keep up the good work.
