Yeah, I lived in Memphis for many years, and none of this surprises me. They had a city councilman named Ricky Peete who went to prison for taking bribes and, as soon as he got out, was promptly reelected to the city council. I don't even think he could (legally) vote as a convicted felon, but that didn't even give the ignoramuses of Memphis's ghettos a moment's pause in voting for him. If you have dark skin and use the right buzzwords, the retarded majority (no exaggeration, the average IQ in some neighborhoods is literally below 70) in Memphis will happily vote for you, no matter how many crimes you commit in office and no matter how dead you might be. But those retards will claim it's only because of racism that their communities are third-world shitholes within a first-world country (for now it'sa first-world country). And now overeducated white Marxcissists have decided that the rest of the country needs to have Memphis-style dysfunction imposed on it to promote "equity." Welcome to clownworld!

BOTH of the reinstated idiots are absolute losers

Please don't tar all Tennesseans with the idiot brush though. Memphis is a huge embarrassment to thoughtful people here as are some of the higher-crime areas of Nashville, but there's a LOT of goodness in The Volunteer State.

I escaped from failing Soviet Seattle just a couple of years ago and I could have chosen literally any place in the entire USA to live, but I chose Tennessee because there are still WONDERFUL, low crime areas to live here.

Not all of Tennessee is Memphis or Nashville, friends. :-)

Sounds familiar: "And I also vividly recall Los Angeles County Sheriff Sherman Block, a law enforcement legend that I interviewed as a newspaper journalist on the crime beat, who actually died during his last reelection campaign and yet still managed to roll up more than a third of the vote in an era long before so-called ‘early voting.’...On election day in November 1998, one out of every three voters in Los Angeles County cast their ballots for a dead man." https://thecromerreader.com/the-daily-read/the-gops-pink-sprinkle/

I’ll wager the average IQ of the democrat voter in TN is <70.

When I think of Braveheart, I think of the South Park episode “The Passion Of The Jew”.

This is what "democracy" looks like in urban Democrat strongholds.

"and was re-elected at age 93, two weeks after she’d died."

well, of course... a lot of times people just vote for the candidate from their tribe. it makes sense that all the zombies would vote for the dead woman.
