It makes me rethink the McCarthy era. Maybe he was right about it all, since under Biden our government was riddled with obvious communists who did whatever they could do to destroy our society.
The decrypted Venona Cables proved beyond all doubt that McCarthy was 100% correct & that there were Soviet spies (such as the contemptible Alger Hiss) riddled all through Government at the highest levels (particularly during the pinko FDR administration.)
IBM used to have an ad that said THINK. Good idea!
From the beginning, I thought that there must be something about this guy that we are not being told. Here it is: Likely human trafficker or smuggler. I found it hard to believe that this administration simply picked up a random guy and shipped him off to El Salvador, no questions asked, none answered.
I was initially excited about Bongino getting into a position of power where he would be able to do all the investigative things he talked about on his show for the past six years, but even before he got into the office I started to worry that he had made a grave mistake.
What if (which is likely) any or all of his efforts to put the cuffs on Schiff and the rest of the RussiaGaters; to find out whose cocaine it was in the WH; whose fault it ultimately was that Trump was grazed with a bullet by a shooter who was seen by the public but not by the police...... what if he was stonewalled in his efforts?
Good luck going back to his lucrative podcast and continuing to do the kind of program that had made him among the top in his field. How can one rail against corruption after having been in a position to do something about it and having come away empty handed?
He talked often about how Rudy Giuliani quickly turned NYC around with his policy of broken window policing, of actually arresting and getting off the streets the few criminals responsible for the majority of crimes. He should try to lead by that example or fold up his tent and try to reassemble his podcast empire while it might still be possible, because if he gets nothing done in 4 years, good luck trying to get back the audience who believed he could bring results.
I'm no expert, but judging by what Bongino had collected on his show, all the evidence of Russia Russia being a hoax, who was involved, who did what, who said what, I thought it might be reasonable to expect some people to be brought in for questioning, but I haven't heard anything about even that. Come to think of it, Bongino advocated for polygraph exams of all Federal agents to find the leakers; maybe they are busy doing that... Or maybe they're not busy doing that.
Never mind Kash saying that the FBI building should be emptied and turned into a museum of corruption and as far as I know, there are still people working there.
I think the problem, A problem, is that (like Roberts), they have a greater devotion to the Institution than they do a contempt for government.
Bongino's statement about 'just because you don't see things happening doesn't mean things aren't happening' smacks of Bondi saying she has the Epstein files on her desk.
All excellent points. My hope is that they are doing the work but waiting for the right time to unveil it. Bombshells unveiled 18 months before an election have a way of blowing over. That is only my hope. My fear is exactly what you say, the Roberts phenomenon. I have been in unique position my entire career- I started working for a Member of Congress during the Gingrich revolution. Even though I was relatively high ranking on the staff, I was never based in DC, I was never able to be seduced or become part of the machine. Even though I nominally do my job in DC currently, I have consciously never lived inside the beltway. I only give this background to confirm what you are saying. People get seduced by DC and become blinded to corruption, forget who they work for, think they are better than the rest of the country etc. They even become blind to how physically terrible a place DC has become. From the 90s into even the Obama years, the city seemed to be improving every year. Then they blew it up with George Floyd and pot legalization. I only go there when absolutely necessary.
I think Kash and Dan the 'Dynamic Duo' are trying to find out who is 'America 1st' in the FB(Eye) and who's not. Pam 'love to watch her strut' knew all the details of this MS gang banger and got legacy media and the Dims to bite on defending him. Bannon's 'flood the zone' has its benefits but they should have cleaned house a little before hitting Pooh Bear with 150% tariffs. Businesses were already fleeing the Chicoms for cheaper labor in Vietnam and close offshoring in Mexico after the 'leaky lab'. Backing off the tariffs now would give some room to get more done here and let the demise of Xi go naturally. If not we may find out soon what the hell the 'Red Balloon' was up to and why we didn't shoot the damn thing down in Montana.
"Bombshells unveiled 18 months before an election have a way of blowing over. "
Good point (although charges filed now would lead to a trial around election time....)
I tend to be inherently pessimistic, no matter how bad you think it is going to be, it will be worse. Up here in Canada, the desperation to get rid of the Liberals is palpable (at least here in Saskatchewan and the rest of western Canada). It goes back to the trucker convoy at least... people lined the highways in -20C temps (jean jacket weather for some of us...lol) to hold up signs, hand out coffee or just to wave and cheer.
They were all convinced that the truckers would descend upon Ottawa and hold out until the government met their demands. The government didn't even meet with them, instead, the first thing the local gov't did was block intersections with graders and police officers, who later busied themselves with confiscating from truckers the fuel that had been given to them by local supporters. The police later hopped on their horses and walked them over an elderly lady on a mobility scooter.
Every time Trudeau faced an ethics problem (3 times I think), some people had a ray of hope that he would be held accountable.
Up until a few months ago, it was deemed inevitable that the Conservatives would win a majority gov't with relative ease, then Trump unleashed his utter contempt for Trudeau in order to wake Canadians up to the fact that collectivism is the problem. Now that hope has perhaps been dashed, as the Libs have risen in the polls due to Canadian Nationalism, which is to say 'we are not americans and we have free health care.'
Pollievre has held a few enthusiastically attended rallies lately, so the same type of trucker hope has been raised. I am reminded of Americans' enthusiasm for McCain and then Romney, and now Kash and Dan....desperate for someone to defeat the left.
All that a lot of people have left is hope. My hope is that if Canada doesn't elect the Conservatives with a majority, then Mayerthorpe Alberta will be to us what Ruby Ridge was to Americans, and the Rambo meme of "just wait until the people who want to be left alone get involved" comes to brilliant blazing life.
fair point. I guess the several years that Kash worked for Nunes and the several years of Bongino talking about it wasn't enough to assemble any evidence at all.
Fearless prediction: no perp walks will be done because no charges will be filed because they will chicken out over the issue of politicizing the law and having such great respect for their Institution.
Democrat voters still call this guy a legal immigrant and that he never committed any crimes. That's how a guy like Biden gets 81 million votes and Kamala gets 71 million. It is embarrassing how dumb people are.
Yes, I have idiot friends on FB still crying their eyes out for this guy (they are teacher's union members btw to confirm our children are being taught by morons). They think he is just some Joe Blow orange man sent to a concentration camp and we are all next!
Wow. Thank you Ann for this update on crime and terrorist activity in the USA…..Bukele “We are not fond of releasing terrorists into our country.” Continued prayers and support to Tom Homan to stay the course and stay tough.
When I found out that Biden nominated that scum myorkas I saw Josh Hawley in the confirmation hearing questioning him. I knew some background with myorkas and was so alarmed he was nominated I called Hawley’s office in St Louis and essentially begged the staffer to beg Hawley to do whatever to stop this nomination. And I wasn’t even Harley’s constituent. I knew, I knew it. That pig should be stripped of US citizenship, executed, then deported.
It makes me rethink the McCarthy era. Maybe he was right about it all, since under Biden our government was riddled with obvious communists who did whatever they could do to destroy our society.
You would enjoy Ann's book, "Treason." She does a deep dive into the McCarthy hearings and all the media lies that surrounded it to demonize McCarthy.
The decrypted Venona Cables proved beyond all doubt that McCarthy was 100% correct & that there were Soviet spies (such as the contemptible Alger Hiss) riddled all through Government at the highest levels (particularly during the pinko FDR administration.)
They truly want to destroy our country.

They should be tried, but they won't be.

Yeah, they are all awfully quiet over there at the FBI. It is disturbing.

You might want to give them more than 20 minutes to build a case.

Patience, Grasshopper ;)
When will we hear about this on MSNBC,CNN,NBC,CBS,ABC AND PBS?

Can’t a fellow sneak into the U.S. traffic kids beat his wife sell drugs and not be left alone?
The Biden administration is the most corrupt administration in our history. By comparison Hillary Clinton is a freshly minted Brownie.
Why should Wray retire his fat butt in our tax dollar and not be prosecuted and convicted?
"Within 2 hours" is the most interesting part of the story. Is Kilmar a friend of the FBI? Do they know him?
Follow the money, the hookers and the illegal Democrat voters".

Let's give them the benefit of the doubt; maybe human trafficking is one of those jobs that Americans just won't do.

Hi Ann when will you be discussing the Austin Metcalf incident?
When I found out that Biden nominated that scum myorkas I saw Josh Hawley in the confirmation hearing questioning him. Was he an FBI informant?
