DeSantis had his chance folks. Give it a rest.

He had all the money he needed, all the big-name endorsements in Iowa, an opening announcement with Elon Musk and he waged an energetic campaign in which he visited all 99 Iowa counties.

He went Zero for 99.

Zero.

As Rush would say, “Zip, Zero, Nada!”

Scott Walker laughed at him.

Give it a rest.

I agree. DeSantis is the most effective Governor I can recall, but his campaign for President fell flat. J.D. Vance is everything DeSantis ought to be as a candidate. Ron will have his chance to run head to head with J.D. next primary season and may the best man win.

How can we get the world’s best leader and proven Governor if not on his amazing record?

Why do slick ads, packed rallies, and election schemes necessary (that function as psy-ops) that get these idiots elected and very well will get this cackling commie hag elected in two days?

I can’t wait to tell every dumbass leftist I know when their town gets colonized by illegal migrants, their hospitals have entire wards full of migrants with exotic deadly diseases and getting treated for terminal AIDS on our tax dollar, a corned beef brisket goes up to $90, gas skyrockets to $6 or MORE a gallon, and then they’ll bitch about never “getting ahead” or being able to buy a house - I’ll just say Kamala got in is why. And you know quite a few (mostly dumbass boomer women) will say oh it’s soooooo worth paying a few more bucks to keep that bad bad orange man out.

I’d like to know what is everyone’s plan if/when Kackela gets in?

I know I’m getting my house ready to sell and downsizing into a one bedroom condo for cash, forget ever again having a mortgage, buying a hybrid or very possibly a Tesla, and very seriously considering how my investments should be allocated as I totally expect a crash.

They have a safe space with Erick Erickson’s acolytes. They are constitutionally incapable of giving it a rest.

Nominating Trump was such an unforced error and I will never shut up about it.

We deluded, manipulated cultists really like politicians with incredible energy, a sense of humor and an implacable resolve to “Fight! Fight! Fight!” even in the face of death.

We also don’t like people who insult us.

I think there was a major Iowan Republican who endorsed RDS. He ran a terrible campaign and I don’t recall Con Inc being against him. Bill and I both wanted RDS. If he ran a poor primary campaign what makes you think he would have run a good national campaign?

Then why did he do so poorly, terribly, in Iowa?

Yes I read it and found it unconvincing. You might want to be a bit more civil in interacting with comments . If RDS is such a tremendous politician as you say he is then why did he do so poorly. And just so you know I was an RDS supporter. I wanted him to win because he is such an effective governor and like you and many others I am exhausted by Trump. I think his behavior after his loss in 2020 was awful. But he beat his challengers fair and square

"Any" is dominated by the usual neocon lineup which is roundly despised by the Trump-era Repubs, so I don't see how the Right drops its visceral hatred of this cabal and gives one of them a 15 point lead. Joni Ernst would be 15 points ahead? Nikki? Ron Johnson? Marco? LANKFORD? On the better end of the spectrum, the relative lightweights who did take on Trump in the primary? I guess we have to better define 'any'. Naw, those all would have been squashed by the Big Media campaign and the steal.

Or SUED. How could the amazing Guv of FL ever financially survive any stupid lawfare lobbed his way like Trump had to endure?

As I have predicted Ann is getting ready to celebrate a Trump defeat with a gloating “I Told You So!”

Just like her liberal friends will.

She has worked to defeat Trump from the start. Show us the doll where he hurt you.

I'm not going to celebrate a Harris win, but it was not hard predicting his defeat.

Liberals will be laughing because they were the ones who gleefully tricked dumbass boomers into nominating Trump in the first place. Ann wanted to win this one and tried to warn you all.

Blaming a “crappy campaign” is a cope for Never Trumpers.

It wasn’t RDS’s campaign (to which I contributed).

It was the candidate.

And if you believe it was “the indictments” that helped Trump win the nomination, then tell me what other Republican would have gained from being indicted and arrested.

Any increase in support of former Republicans with a conventional candidate would have been off set by a loss of enthusiasm and turnout by white working class voters.

I cannot understand at this point how this is a helpful conversation. Okay Ann, we know you despise Trump. We know where you stand, its clear. Are you campaigning for Harris/Waltz and Democrats? Seems so!! If Harris wins and voters share that Ann Coulter influenced them to vote for Harris. (Yes hypothetical and not likely but...) For some Trump is not the most likable, but they are accepting of him because of his policies . Lets stand up and support who we have so we are not subjected to Democrat policies. Or is it more important to be able to say that You (Ann) I told you Trump was a bad choice.

My only hope is to get Trump elected so he can begin to get us headed in the right direction. That’s the most he’s capable of, we’ve already seen it. Then DeSantis will be waiting in the wings and in 2028 can make real changes that will actually put America back on the pedestal she belongs on.

Israel and Silicon Valley want Trump in, so he is coming back. You read it here...take it to the bank.

It was obvious that Trump would clear the field if he got into the race. That's what a 40% base will do for you.

Hillary "conceded", but she'd already begun the Russia Collusion plot several months before and allowed it to continue for years after Trump's inauguration. with the obvious aim of ousting him from office. That, combined with all irregularities and anomalies of the 2020 election, might have made the Jan 6 protest seem not so strange if the Dems, MSM and others hadn't invented an "insurrection."

Ann, how are Democrats going to face a reckoning on the border if Kamala is going to win?

Let Harris win, then boy-oh-boy we'll really get her in 2028 with the "right" candidate!

So the Dem/MSM construction of the Jan 6 hoax was essential. The "masses" don't know that the DoD IG report confirms that DJT ordered troops to protect the Capitol on J6, but the Secy of the Army and Gen. Milley didn't follow through and Nancy Pelosi didn't give af. (A large, unvetted crowd, weren't they afraid undetected Russian agents would wreak havoc?) The Cheney Jan 6 Committee certainly wasn't interested in discovering the truth, No alternative opinions allowed, no minority counsel, evidence destroyed afterwards. Still little CCTV video released, so we can't be sure in most cases who did what to whom. Either the current Speaker was threatened or he didn't need to be threatened. And Bill Maher still says cops died on Jan 6.

The “press” has spun the narrative on this event. Cheating does happen in our elections and the dems have always had a right to question results. Until conservatives, republicans or independents question the narrative loudly and legally the press controls their “truth”

If DeSantis had been the nominee the Dems would never had run Harris. The only Republican she could beat was Trump. Not because people don't like his policy, they don't like him

They say to be a good actor requires being a good liar, the same can be said for politicians. Does anyone really believe Harris has changed her core beliefs? Bring on the mean tweets.

Thank you Ann for this focused group information. I don’t get it. A lie has speed but the truth has endurance. I do not know if 2020 was “stolen”— I don’t steal from others, so the concept is foreign to me. I do not have trust in this new democratic machine not because they lie, cheat (potentially) and steal, because they do not take accountability or ownership for their deceit and constantly hood wink innocent people into their dysfunctional web of intentional destruction and lack of intentional prosperity of and for the USA.
