Whoa, whoa, Whoa! MSNBC's Joy Reid just said you can "literally" take a life with a gun!
I had no idea. ... I take it all back.
But first, let’s check in with Suzanna Hupp. For the past 30 years, Hupp has been an avid proponents of concealed carry laws, ever since she was having lunch with her parents in 1991 at a Luby’s cafeteria in Killeen, TX , when a gunman crashed his truck into the restaurant, then proceeded to methodically murder 23 helpless, unarmed people — including Huff’s mom and dad.
There was nothing she could do. It was against the law in Texas back then to carry a concealed weapon.
Psycho killer George Hennard:
“I felt like I had made a horrible, horrible, horrible decision,” Huff said, “to obey the stupid-ass (gun) law that resulted in people dying. If I had my gun in my purse, I could have done something.”
But she’d left her gun in the car because “it was illegal to carry a gun."
We know guns can “literally” take a human life — like the mass murderer who killed Hupp’s parents. That’s why we like them, you sh!t-for-brains hack.
I find it too convenient that coming into elections where the left is going to be clobbered, there are suddenly multiple mass shootings. Where did the 18 year old in Texas get the money for two AR’s 60 magazines, hundreds of rounds of ammo, and body amour?
We can always count on Joy Reid to say some of the most profoundly and breathtakingly obtuse things imaginable
Every. Single. Day.
And to think of all of the fabulously brilliant people who are deprived of the far-reaching megaphone Joy has been handed...Ann Coulter chiefly among them...who could use such a megaphone far, far more intelligently and to far greater public benefit.
Affirmative-action hiring only brings us mediocrity or worse, and Joy Reid is Exhibit A of that truth.
