It is a legitimate struggle that I believe good and honest persons in social work deal with. I absolutely agree with the one-upmanship point. To me, it does not help any community, family, person (implicitly or explicitly, of course) that the former First Lady during President Obama’s time (2009-2017) was quoted as saying out loud “The White House is like a very nice prison.” What message was that intended to send? To me, an irresponsible one and one that caused me pause. When you are given or provided a platform, keep it civil, keep it safe, keep it straight up. For all citizens. For more than 2000 yrs Ppl have known that without law+ and order you do not have a civilized society! This is nothing new! The real problem is our mental health practices do not work you are better off going to your local priest, deacon, rabbi, preacher or neighborhood which doctor!

Adding up no bail policies, hyperinflation, the open border, the growth of homeless addict camps, government censorship and outright criminality, there is only one conclusion: Democrats want to destroy the United States out of their sheer hatred of the core taxpayers who want to preserve it. I'd like Zeldin to win but in 2018 Cuomo won by 1.4 million votes. Hochul is not popular and the crime levels are shocking but it would take a miracle for Zeldin to overcome such a heavily leaning Democratic state. God, I hope I'm wrong.
The biggest criminals in the United States are Trump and his supporters who organized, fomented and instigated the riot at the Capitol by people who Trump was told were armed with various weapons and which resulted in multiple deaths and injuries. Indictment and prosecution of Trump, Eastman, Guiliani and others is long overdue by slow acting AG Garland. Also is master criminal Trump hiding national security documents at his various houses or golf courses, lying to the FBI and endangering national security by lax treatment of documents labeled Top Secret. Compare delayed prosecution of Trump with prosecution of General Petraeus and Sandy Berger who took home or kept a few national security documents. Democrats want to see Trump and his co-conspirators prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
