Ann, you could've had a V8. You could've had Trump's ear at closer range than the patsy in Butler, Pennsylvania did, to recommend people for his cabinet. Hell, you could've been IN his cabinet.
Gaetz won't have anything to do with legalization of pot or increasing adoption by gays now that he's out of the House. I don't support pot legalization, but like Thanos wearing the gauntlet with all the stones, it's inevitable, barring an Iron-Man to stop it, that marijuana is eventually taken off the Schedule 1 classification as a hallucinogenic narcotic, once the feds work out an amicable deal with the cartels. The pot horse has left the barn, unfortunately, since nearly half the states have legalized it already, and some additional ones have approved medical pot.
According to what little I could dig up, since I'm not anywhere near the sleuth you are, Ann, (and I have other things I'm doing in my life keeping me busy) refugees from Sudan, Congo, and Ethiopia have come to South Dakota. Their numbers haven't been large at all, very small in fact, but these people are legitimate asylees as Christians who've fled Muslim persecution.
I agree with you that there ought to be a moratorium on all new immigration for at least 10 years. This seems like an adequate amount of time for those who are here to fully assimilate. I also agree with Trump's desire to repatriate (the better, more appropriate term than "deport") millions of illegals currently on public assistance in the country. We both know Homan, Miller, and Noem, with the president, will face enormous legal roadblocks trying to stop these economic illegal migrants from being sent back to their own countries.
I don't believe Kristi Noem is at all as bad as you make her out to be. You were raised in Connecticut, which I know has some farming, but have you ever been deeply involved with farmers and ranchers? I am a city slicker myself, so I haven't. I've gotten to know farmers, though, now that I live near them, and it's a whole, different way of life.
I love dogs as much as you or anyone, but your "dog killer" label for Noem just sounds like the kind of scurrilous terminology the New York Times you despise so much would say. Maybe you should have her on your podcast and talk with her instead? I think that would be a better approach than trashing her from afar. If you're not a sixty-year-old virgin you need to take the log out of your own eye so you can see clearly to take the splinter out of hers. Asking for interviews with people you have questions about would increase your fan base audience, and we'd get to hear some interesting interviews.
Just more unsolicited commentary from a genuine hardcore fan. I love your wit (you're very funny!) and you're extremely smart. You write fantastic books (Good Lord I wish you'd write again!), but please reach for your softer side. I know it exists somewhere in that battle-hardened exterior of yours.
Farmers have broad latitude to shoot loose dogs that are attacking their livestock or for that matter ANY dog, their own, their neighbors, that are a nuisance, period. Urban folks do not have the same rights at all, in Ohio you cannot shoot a dog that is attacking your own dog even if it’s in your own home
The problem with Kristi Noem is that she is a liar and a grifter. She’s everything Trump supporters voted against. DHS is the most important post in the cabinet- mountains of legal red tape and Noem has no legal or practical expertise in either. But DHS particularly is a bad fit for Noem bc it is ripe with opportunities for pay for play corruption.
After 8 years of the left lying constantly to our faces Americans are sick of liars. MAGA’s coalition is supposed to be better than that.
Noem lied in her book about meeting Kim Jong Un, lied about canceling a meeting with French President as a “negotiation technique”, lied about traveling the world for the House Armed Serves committee and then lied about lying about it all on her national media book tour. It was an embarrassment to the GOP. Trump should have distanced himself from her to show he does not condone liars. But Trump nominates her risking the credibility of the entire MAGA team?
The word grifter is overused these days but Kristi happens to actually be a grifter in the truest sense of the word.
She has already been sued by a consumer advocacy organization for ethics violations regarding the money she is making since becoming governor. But it has not stopped her from grifting off her governor’s seat.
Noem accepts high priced sponsorship deals with companies paying her 5 to 6 figures in exchange for making endorsement content on her social media- a platform she only has because she is SD governor. She’s currently has deals with Black Hills Harley Davidson, food companies, fashion houses, spas, too many to count.
She has a sponsorship deal with a dentist in Texas where she is appearing on TV commercials and social media posts in exchange for free veneers on her teeth which cost anywhere from $20,000 to $50,000. And her office refuses to comment.
I’m not even sure how any of this legal for a governor. As a federal politician or employee it will not be legal. But the entire point of Trump’s movement was he was building a coalition of advisers whom we can trust and that want to serve the American people and not themselves.
After everything we’ve all been through for Trump why risk the entire MAGA movement derailing if Kristi Noem secures herself a Birkin bag and a seat on the board of Black Rock or the like. She’s a risk.
She’ll also be responsible for hiring thousands of DHS employees after showing a clear lack of judgment and character. How can we expect someone who doesn’t value honesty to hire truth worthy advisors? She’s lied time and again. So, will she and her staff lie to Trump? Will she lie to the press? Will her team lie to Americans while out in the field?
Oh and the way she killed her dog and her goat is troubling at best.
It’s all the more infuriating when for the second time Trump has shafted Kris Kobach, Esq who’s the most qualified person in the country for DHS. If one could mold from scratch the perfect DHS secretary for the MAGA movement it would be Kris Kobach with Tom Holland as his muscle. They would be an absolute dream team.
He’s an effective leader, a brilliant immigration and border attorney. He have a proven track record of honesty and integrity and he’s sued the Biden administration about ~300 times over the open border and illegal immigration and even DACA. If Trump had hired Kris Kobach last time, Trump never would have needed to cave on DACA bc Kobach knows the law better than anyone else in the country and DACA amnesty is unconstitutional.
I subscribed to Ann to read one piece many months ago and forgot to unsubscribe. (Doing it now that she reminded me of her insanity). How can a governor of SD stop the feds from sending refugees to her state?
Also, as if Noem will come up with her own policies. No. Is aligned with the administration and can implement the policies.
10 years ban on immigration is not just unwise (when you also want to deport illegals in mass) but also a pipe dream to pass in Congress, and causes you to bleed approval numbers when you need them to enact big agendas like the mass deportation.
Hi. I agree that Congress would never agree to a moratorium on immigration. Multicultural DEI is still a big ideological pillar of corporate America. I also agree with you that Noem, like any other governor, crafts policy with her state house. She also didn't have a say about those who were flown or bussed into her state from wherever.
While I don't speak for Ann, I think she likes the idea of a moratorium but for what length of time is unknown to me.
I know a lot of people talk about the repopulation rate being low in the West and that's used as a reason to justify more immigration. That said, if America continues to import the Third World we become the Third World. If we import leftists we become leftists.
A lot of the people Biden/Harris brought in are on public (taxpayer subsidized) assistance. If they work a job, it's under the table or illegal otherwise. They're not all picking fruit and vegetables. They're in meat packing plants, chicken farms, hotels, trades, etc. Most of the people who came in the past 10 years are males of fighting age, (18-30) as has long been reported. America didn't have a problem before they came and won't when they're repatriated.
Incentives for young couples to have families should be proffered by President Trump's administration. But those young couples have to be deprogrammed from the indoctrination they've received that the world is going to end due to climate change and the economy has to be set back on the right track so those young people can afford a home.
I would rather have Pam Bondi as AG than Matt Gaetz. She has less baggage and is more qualified for such a serious job. I think that some of Trump's cabinet picks will have serious issues getting through, but we'll see. Great job, Ann.
Bondi is great. But what Gaetz had and she doesn’t was the eloquent and rhetorical skills. Bondi is too sensitive. She cries when pushed hard. And Ann Coulter is full of nonsense
I'm disappointed Ann didn't mention the most important news of the week that AOC wants men in women's bathrooms. I long for the day when a truck driver dressed in drag sits next to AOC in a public bathroom and drops a deuce after a twelve hour shift. Methinks AOC will change her mind after that!
I like the podcast, especially the 5 Stories structure.
As a white man I say thank you for the compliment and you're welcome for the services.
It would take way too long, but "Thank a White Man" could be a nice weekly segment where you basically go through Charles Murray's "Human Accomplishment", pick a topic, and thank white men for making the world a better place.
Ann has lost her senses. I subbed to read one story and now unsubscribing! Seriously, how can any governor stop the Feds from bringing refugees? They can’t. And Noem is a team player
Thank you Ann for the link to support info on Ricochet (especially the laundry tips🙃) In re: the Harris campaign money management to celebrities. I respond. “Wow” Katy, Lady Gaga, Christina, etc. were not paid directly “The support staff was” …The far leftist dems always using the “little guy” to hide their deception in the name of “inclusion” Mean-spirited to me.
Love the podcasts - our chance to hear you speak directly to us.
Surprised you didn't like Pam Bondi. C'mon, it's not like she's trying to be a fireman or joining in combat. BUT, Ann's comments caused me to look up Leonard Leo.
The article describes him: "Short and thick-bodied, dressed in a bespoke suit and round, owlish glasses, Leo looked like a character from an Agatha Christie mystery. Unlike the judges in attendance, Leo had never served a day on the bench. Unlike the other lawyers, he had never argued a case in court. He had never held elected office or run a law school. On paper, he was less important than almost all of his guests."
And yet: " He advised Trump on the nominations of Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. Before that, he’d helped pick or confirm the court’s three other conservative justices — Clarence Thomas, John Roberts and Samuel Alito." I had never heard of him - I live a sheltered life, which is why I love listening to the podcasts and reading the Coulter Substack. Ann certainly knows him: "When Leo arrived at Cornell University as an undergraduate in the fall of 1983." Ann was, again, exactly correct. Yep, smart man.
Everything has come full circle. (I'm from Pennsylvania.) We got back Dave McCormick, and it looks like we are getting Dr. Oz, the cardio-thoracic surgeon. (Still stuck with Fetterman- he still wants to legalize pot).
Pot is not harmful than cigarettes, and no should be jailed for smoking it. I don’t like it but what’s the big deal?
Of course Ann doesn’t like Bondi, for the same reason she doesn’t like Noem. They are successful women and Ann is irrelevant. How can she blame Noem or any governor for not stopping Feds from bringing refugees to the states? Like, they can’t do that.
My thoughts on Fetterman is that he promotes pot. He had a flag for it hanging on the state house. We don’t need someone representing us and our laws promoting the use.
I like Bondi as well. She was a good choice. However, Trump could have a better choice than Noem. Ann is not irrelevant- that’s just an unkind and unnecessary comment.
You would think Gaetz was smarter, I’m sure his jailed party planner drove a BMW. Always stick to the private jet crowd like Clinton.
Harris paying these show biz- libtard -phonies is hysterical. Oprah was frozen out by the Obama’s 8 years ago .. hey the old girl needs a little spending money.
Why? She doesn’t have anything useful to say about women.
Of course Ann doesn’t like Bondi, for the same reason she doesn’t like Noem. They are successful women and Ann is irrelevant. How can she blame Noem or any governor for not stopping Feds from bringing refugees to the states? Like, they can’t do that.
First, you are needlessly insulting but needing to be told that makes you already too obtuse to comprehend that reality,
Next, Noem could have had the wherewithal to follow Texas Governor Abbott’s lead by disrupting and redirecting the illegal inflow if she was more a leader for the electorate than for herself.
And finally, have you never listened to Ann introducing and interviewing Heather Mac Donald…it doesn’t get much more respectful and complimentary than that and, no doubt about Heather being a woman…and one hell of one at that!
Ann, go further. There is no Covid. That is an invention just like all the other lies that came afterward. There are a myriad of reasons people got sick during the "Covid" era--none having to do with the fairy tale of a specific pathogen. Most of it was repackaged flu or similar respiratory illness mostly found in the elderly who had pre-existing conditions to begin with. The "virus" has always been a cover story for environmental poisoning (especially air pollution) and iatrogenic treatment.
In order to prove there is actually A NOVEL COVID PATHOGEN, the cytopathic effect (cell death) must be proven with an isolated/purified sample in a non-toxic culture. That was never done nor were any controls utilized. But here we simply assume what the so-called experts tell us. This is not science…it’s a religion.

Why did the number of excess deaths rise dramatically when covid infections peaked? It could not have been the common flu.
There were no "Covid" infections. Excess deaths can be attributed to Covid vaccines and iatrogenic treatment.
Covid was discovered in the US in January, 2020. Many people died before the vaccine became available in December, 2020.
Most of the people who died after the vaccine was avaialble were unvaccinated.
Bullshit.
