The NYT has billed itself as 'The Newspaper Of Record' for a very long time, but I might suggest that permanently welding themselves to the bandwagon of lunacy will not win any hearts or minds, as their notion of what constitutes 'The Record' is entirely foreign to significant majorities of people. Finding “…more rational and coherent information sources” might require finding more rational and coherent people which doesn’t look probable with the education establishment brain-washing at least 3 generations of “students” from pre-school right through and including graduate school, plus the influx of motivated rocket scientists poor over the southern border and last but not least the non-stop putrid propaganda bombarding the population 24/7 from every culture creating arm of our society.

~Vast swathes of sanity still exist in the USA for people who are willing to look carefully and flee the hopelessly failed blue cities. After researching real estate options, I was able to find one that is right for me. Unlike my Seattle home, none of my neighbors are Communists and virtually everyone within 20 miles is on the same page, ideologically speaking. We work together and help each other when needed, while leaving each other to their own lives as much as possible. There is virtually no crime.
Thoughtful people who care about their children and their future need to work to build good lives for their families and network with like-minded people so that we can retain the best of America and American values for a time when this Dark Age is past and we can rebuild.
We need to recognize that America is fully in crisis at all levels but work toward a better time.. America is the best idea Mankind has ever had, and she deserves to be saved.

I read the column and it detailed six different marriages with three of them being same sex and all three of those being lesbian. I think it's telling that the writer and NYT depicts half of all marriages as same sex (in order to be inclusive I suppose) thus portraying it as "normal". However that gay unions were ignored could be reflective as the writer's "anti-diversity" bias or possibly an understandable knee-jerk reaction against the patriarchy. In any case the universe that this writer, and probably her intended audience, live in is a parallel but vastly distinct reality from the one that everyone outside of the northeast or west coast experience. How do you endure that suffocatingly oppressive environment Ann?
