This is one of the best one since Ann started substack. From the headline that says "Jan 6" I thought this was just about that but oh boy Pelosi story and the theory as to why police did not storm in to stop the TX gun mass murder, this was really a great podcast.
Wow, this is more than a two comment podcast, and I’m of course going to complete listening to it, but comparing the Jan 6 hearings and the search for answers and accountability for the deaths of four American patriots because of the policies and incompetence of Obama and Hillary, is just stunning. I’m rocked by this commentary, Ann and John.
I've been reading Ann's books & columns for years now, I've been listening to her interviews whenever I can...and this is the ONLY time I've ever heard her utter an astonished "What?!?!?" and "Wow......!!!" of that magnitude! To get a reaction like that from her is really something, she's normally pretty unflappable: almost nothing surprises her any more!
(As for Democrats being able to simply float through life, their crimes going ignored....well, Ted Kennedy certainly proved that fact beyond all doubt more than half a century ago!)

Ann's crucial point about gun-control laws in the USA beginning (and continuing) as racist tools of Democrat Party oppression of black people cannot be overstated or repeated often enough. The Klan were the precursors of today's Antifa and BLM in the sense that they served as the jackbooted Brownshirts and domestic terrorists of their day, tasked with the violent enforcement of Democrat Party goals. This business of black people being free was bad enough according to the Dems, but for free black people to be defending their lives against the murderous Klan was simply intolerable and so America's first gun control laws were enacted...focused on disarming black people so as to protect the Democrat Party's Klan footsoldiers.
Although in modern times the Dems couch their strategies in terms of "safety" and "common sense" the results of their proposed anti-gun policies remain the same; disarming the poorest of the poor who need to defend themselves most against criminal violence. By keeping them helpless, the Democrat Party ensures a perpetual virtual enslavement of black people who feel they have no choice other than to support an ever more powerful State leviathan that continually promises safety and security but is unable and ultimately unwilling to provide either.

The logic of not being able to arm yourself escapes me. When John described the gun grabber’s attitude of wanting you to lodge an administrative complaint after the robbery or sexual assault , the grabber does not take into account the “in-the-moment” mindset. The victim has no clue and remains in fear of the incident progressing toward serious bodily injury or death. I’ve seen countless cases where homicides took place after a simple weed transaction or a robbery where the victim offered no resistance. This, btw, is justification for CONCEALED Carry and maintaining the element of surprise.
Regarding Paul Pelosi’s arrest, we’re being told his BAC was .08. What we have not been told if this was the actually reading two hours after the stop or is it the adjusted BAC after the blood was analyzed to reflect the estimate BAC at the time OF the stop. In other words, he may have been shitfaced when he was arrested and a guy his size can metabolize a lot more alcohol than his constantly slurring wife.

the difference is that Bengahzi was a big deal because our ambassador died and the administration did NOTHING to try and help those people.
