Christie shouldn't comment about whether or not anyone else is "fit" for anything...

I thought DeSantis campaign wasn't going too well at first. Now he is rising with sharper messages especially pointing out how Trump had great promises YET failed to implement the most important campaign promises. Tax cut, fine. But where are mass deportation and wall or draining swamp. We can all blame Biden but had he built the wall, far few would have crossed the border. So called Trumpism is great and that was Trump's role to get started with it. Now someone like Ron DeSantis to get it done. Trump had a chance and didn't do. Are we dumb enough to give him another chance and see him not doing again? That's too risky

In 2020, Trump told Dr. Scott Atlas that he'd have to convince his (Trump's) son-in-law (Jared Kushner) about changing existing [murderous] Covid testing policy:

Chapter 5-“The Politics of Testing”

page 88, “His [Pres. Trump] most trusted advisors didn’t fully sign on to a strategic approach to [Covid] testing. At one point, he [Trump] offhandedly remarked, “You’ll have to convince my son-in-law of that.”

Another Opus. Sadly, Ron D is done. We have a choice Trump, Biden(Newsome/M Obama) or RFK. The blob has spoken.

Right. The blob is glomming onto Nicky so Ron won’t win. Too bad.

Nikki is Jeb with a wig. No shot. Ron D is the Thomas Dewey of the Party. A great candidate on paper and substance but at the wrong place and time. Maybe he can be CEO of Disney in 24?

Or Michelle Obama - the real threat. She could get elected without debating, campaigning much other than singing to the choir in a few places, and appearing a LOT on Barack’s arm in and in an evening dress.

Well Done Ann.

I’d love to see DeSantis in the White House, no question about it. But damn, DJT is at 45% in Iowa this morning. DeSantis and Haley around 22%. Add to this the rift in Republican support with the majority of Trump and DeSantis backers stating they’d never vote for the other. Jesus, if the country ever needed cohesion with its conservative voters, it is now.

The left has succeeded in dividing all of us into so many small groups- sub groups. I wish all people with commons sense would have the. I’m in sense to come together....

"The left" has nothing to do with it. The Republican Party exists only to prevent people with common sense from ever having a voice in the party or the country. The GOP would never allow us to have the candidate we need.

Unfortunately, I agree. I never send any donation to any general Republican organization because they do not support true conservative candidates. Not that I can give much at all, but my donations go to individual candidates.

"Jesus," the country doesn't need "cohesion with its conservative voters." The GOP will never allow conservative voters to have the candidate they need, starting with one who'll close the Pentagon. US must be broken up.

With all due respect to Ann Coulter, whom I honestly love and adore. I have all your books but I am not a yes man with you or anyone.

I think DeSantis' answer about having someone younger for president is shallow and self-serving, and reflects the present age that worships youth and sneers at the elderly. The average age of our nation's founders was 44. Not senior citizen status to be sure but certainly middle-aged. Several signers of the Declaration were under 35, though. Average age of a Representative or Senator is 46. Washington was 43 at the beginning of the Colonial War for Independence.

As far as DeSantis' other comments: No one is able to clean up the swamp. I don't care who you are. He trusted those advising him about Fauci. He did fire Comey. Anyone claiming they'll "drain the swamp" (Trump included!) is just speechifying. There's nothing to it.

He built over 500 miles of wall (not 28 as some say). I wonder what a President DeSantis would have done when judges put the kibosh on the wall. Would he have defied them? At what cost? Wouldn't Democrats demand his being impeached for defying the "order" of a federal judge? Unlike Obama, Trump didn't have lawyers and judges blocking every, possible deportation possible.

But yes, Trump is fit to be president. Fatso McBully Christie Kreme is only staying in this election to hurt the Republican's chances in November and for my life I can't see why he should be given any air time.

DeSantis comes across weak. Weaker even than Haley, who is the soup de jure of the donor class.

One thing is for sure: Haley will never get Trump's enormous base. She isn't an America-First candidate but a globalist. DeSantis lacks charisma. His appeal is very limited.

The one question I wished Megyn Kelly or someone would have asked at this last debate is whether or not all the remaining candidates would support the eventual nominee.

DeSantis should have waited his turn. I hope he's at least as smart as Tim Scott and endorses Trump after he loses in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina to Nikki Haley.

Question to Ann Coulter: Would have you have defied the federal judge's order stopping wall construction? Yes or no?

I honestly continue to think that whatever Trump's perceived failures they weren't deliberate or based on reneging on his promises. They were based on his unwillingness to defy legal roadblocks set in his way. His own party apparatus hated him before he even was sworn in because they all expected and wanted Hilary to win! Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and everyone else around Trump made it their business to lead him astray. I concede Trump paid too much attention to Jared and Ivanka and it was wrong he allowed them to throw Steve Bannon under the bus. I wish Trump had chosen YOU, Ann, for Attorney General, instead of that weasel weakling Sessions or that traitorous tub of lard Barr. Trump's problem was twofold: The good advisors he had were shoved aside (Flynn and Bannon) and he had bad ones around him. Conway was good but even she was sidelined by Jared.

Just like Darth Vader told Luke Skywalker, "You don't know the power of the Dark Side!" Trump didn't know the power he could wield as president. He had some inkling he would be the leader of the free world but I don't think he fully grasped that as president he was just shy of being a king.

I don't think Trump will make that mistake in another term.

I wish you would write on these phony cases against Trump, Ann, instead of continuing to say woe is me about your horse DeSantis, who's looking more and more like he's ready for the glue factory.

You supported Christie and look how he turned out. You supported Romney. Look how he turned out. You supported McCain (albeit for the beauteous Palin) but look how he turned out.

You were right about Biden winning against Trump but not for his being a better candidate. Trump had everything going for him and were it not for covid Trump would have won in a landslide.

Maybe if you stopped being so bitter and angry and simply apologized you could have a civil discussion with him and offer him good advice.

I'm still waiting to hear what you would have done in his place with the wall.

Abram, pls do research. Don built no "wall" whatsoever. GOP made it illegal to build any wall, no Don prototypes allowed either. Only "fence" was allowed which as everyone knows has been easily scaled or knocked down, hasn't stopped a single one of millions of third world military age men from around the globe flooding the border, then being flown to Midtown Manhattan or other location. Entire political class is rabidly open borders. If Don had once said he'd have to ask congress permission to build a wall, I'd never have listened to another word he said or voted for him in 2016. He should've resigned in 2017.

Unlike Biden, President Trump doesn't just order money sent here or there. President Trump requested funds from Congress for the wall. A paltry amount of money in comparison to what's gleefully been sent to Ukraine or even Israel, for that matter.

Trump had a huge uphill battle trying to get funding and in the end judges stopped the project, anyway. This was at the heart of my OP. Would you have ignored the judges? Would Ann? Andrew Jackson did and nothing happened to him but someone did try to put a bullet in him. The gun jammed.

We have a country to save and I am tired of the endless squabbling I hear from our side. I disagree with you about how much wall was built and do not believe either DeSantis or Haley have any intention on building one, either if the GOP rallied behind either of them.

So we're back to square one. Do we vote for the person who has the most broad appeal (have you checked internet videos of black men being asked who they're leaning towards this time?) or vote for someone who is definitely endorsed by the "donor class"?

Naveen, no one has voted yet so how do you who's going to be GOP nominee? Don't you believe in free and fair elections? I'll grant you the media and Establishment are desperate for Don to be nominee because they saw him sell out his 63 million 2016 voters and join the Estab. without blinking. To us, 2016 was supposed to be about wrecking the GOP. But as soon as we gave that gift to Don, he flipped for the Estab, made Jared Kushner de facto pres., and made mass murderer Lindsey Graham his best pal.

Nikki Haley has the physiognomy of a vulture. She is revolting at the gut level. With no domestic agenda and only a Bush foreign policy to peddle, she will not seriously challenge Trump.

In normal times DeSantis would be in contention given his record of actually implementing the Trump platform. But The Donald's persecutions--though self-inflicted--have won him a cult following. Dear Leader needn't deliver; he need only be Dear Leader. DeSantis is up against abnormal times.

DeSantis needs to understand....pushing people around to get what you want..............is far different than pushing around the CIA and the rest of the Deep State.

They will kill you.

Trump breaking promises is not the problem. Far larger problem out there. It will fix itself when our National Debt comes crashing down on our collective heads.....and the cock roaches get on jets and fly off to their Dark Money Funded islands.

Lying to get elected is "the problem." It also suggests psychological problems. If you don't do what you promised to do to get a job--for whatever reason--you resign. Now you're saying Don can't touch the Deep State because they'll kill him. Fine, then there's no reason he should be running for office in 2023 bragging that "we'll drive out the Deep State." And the fact that US is run by criminal mob should be the #1 topic of every candidate and every "debate." Every candidate should call for breakup of US. In 2016 Don unconditionally said he was the one person strong enough to stand up to the bureaucracy and that he'd build a wall on day one. The point is I never wd've voted for just another run of the mill Estab. Republican which is what Don is. He even said in 2022 that he can't fire a single bureaucrat, takes 5 -15 yrs to fire one, would take new law by congress for that to change.

And Trump will proceed to break all of his promises again if elected in 2024. We'll get a Kushner administration for another four years while Trump takes shots at Ron "DeSanctis". But I don't see DeSantis being much better. He and Haley can't decide if they are running for president of Israel or America.

DeSantis should respond to Christie about whether Trump is fit or not with something like the following: "I am not interested in talking about Trump because he is not willing to appear before the voters at the debates. The only people who want to make this election all about Trump are Trump, Biden and his cheering section in the media. By making it all about Trump Chris, you are playing the role of useful idiot for the Biden campaign."

Before the Ron Vs. Gavin Debate, Ron's smiling like a guy trying to hold a smile in a family photo, as the photographer is herding the 3-year-old in the bottom row. His handlers in the front row must have had their index fingers on the ends of their fake smiles. Megan Kelly must have intimidated Ron so much before the start of the R debate he couldn't relax his feet or his hands but maybe he was so pumped up to get it on with the lightweights on the stage. Except for Vivek who schooled neo-con Nicki, the beached whale, and was cool as a cucumber but his sophomoric jabs turned off my a-political wife as she was working on her laptop and dealing with me. I'm hoping we can celebrate the U.S.A.'s Quarter Millennial Party in 2026 with ANYONE but Brandon in the Oval Office. ANYONE
