On a weekly basis, it is hard to edge out those perennial winners, the (no longer Royal) Douche and Douchesse of Sussex. Tough competition with whichever race baiting racist du jour is spewing hate over at MSNBC. But how big a douche is Keith Olbermann? Too douchey even for MSNBC's ultra-low standards. The U.S. always seems to have a substantial lead in producing douchebags. Until you consider Europe. The E.U. parliament is a douche gallery.
Leftists spend so much time "exposing" (manufacturing) nonexistent Nazism, racism & hate on the Right precisely because it's in such short supply and they can't keep the creaky old wheels of their 'Right Wing Hate Machine' narrative greased without it.
Meanwhile, we see a constant stream of REAL hate, racism & bigotry on the Left. It's far worse than any I've seen coming from conservatives in my lifetime and is getting worse and more deadly by the day.
This constant effort by the Left to gin up hysteria and anger among its constituency with lies parading as fact such as the photo and tweets so kindly provided by Ann today is so widespread that I'm thinking it would be worthy of an entire book from her. She could utilize her lawyerly precision in documenting events and providing footnotes and links as well as her engaging prose to create a truly damning portrait of mob control in modern times and how the Left (and perhaps also the Corporate 'Republicans'?) wield it. Her interest in mob psychology would, I believe, make this a project that she could happily embrace and it would be a poignant, captivating and timeless work for the ages.
My only request is that she might honor us with an audiobook version also, because she has a lovely speaking voice and her vocal inflections provide an added layer to punctuate her works.
