The "bimbette" moderators truly astonished me, especially given the breathtakingly unfair tag-team effort from ABC against President Trump such a short time ago. Considering the universal blowback against the Trump/Biden moderators for their obvious intentional bias, one would have thought that the CBS hussies might have made even the smallest effort to be somewhat fair and at least abide by their own rules but no, CBS decided to openly lie to the participants and viewers alike, telling us beforehand that there would be no fact-checking in this debate. They are either so very obtuse that this didn't register with them or they have a VERY low opinion of viewers' intelligence, thinking that nobody would notice, remember or care. Too bad I wasn't a fly on the wall backstage after the debate where CBS staffers and bosses were probably cheering the moderators' stellar performance, for sticking it to J.D. Vance in such a stunningly unprofessional and dishonest way. I'm guessing that this is all a reflection of the DNC's internal polling numbers which are so low for Heels Up Harris as to completely terrify the media so much that they literally don't care at all about anything other than propping up Walz and interfering with Vance at every opportunity.

I agree with Ann and Ryan's assessment of Vance and Walz's respective performances although I'd suggest that Walz conveyed the image of someone who was completely terrified and was far out of his intellectual depth. He looked to me as though he was on the verge of having a stroke right there on live TV and I was hopeful that there was a paramedic team stationed nearby for him. Unlike so many Democrats, I don't wish harm upon my political rivals and I certainly hope that Walz gets the professional clinical care and serenity that he so obviously needs, far away from the reins of power.

Thank You Ann and Ryan for your excellent post-debate wrap-up. You're always the best After-Party! ;-)

Now more than ever, we really need to implement the "Ann Coulter Rule": NO MODERATORS! I swear, listening to those bozos constantly interrupting with their "fact" checking, is really getting out of control & the fact that they literally have to cut the guy's mike off to try & get over on him only demonstrates how ridiculous they are! (Get a clue, moderators! It's not about YOU! Nobody's voting for you, so just shut UP!)

JD should have brought up Tampon Tim theme - how much he loves satanic gender madness push. But that's the only thing I thought he could have done better. Otherwise it was so spectacular that often non-impactful debate might have gained more votes. I also thought JD already secured a position of the future US president. I don't know myself whether I want DeSantis first or JD.

Nice work AC & G, the moderators did a little better job of trying to look less biased…..Fail. The way Waltz jerked his head around I’m surprised he not wearing a neck brace.

I was waiting for this!!

Did anyone notice that moderators always asked Walz to respond to Vance’s “allegations”? Don’t recall them using the term on Walz

Ann, the phrase is “sharpest knife in the drawer,” not “sharpest knife in the toolbox,” unless you are a serial murderer, although toolboxes contain utility knives. You probably never worked the fries at McDonald’s like Kamala. 😉 I worked at Burger King back in the day, but, fear not, you correctly characterized Walz as a “schlub.” I read on X that the VP debate was the worst thing to happen to Trump because JD made him look like Walz.

The Wall Street Journal editorial following the debate beat me to it but JD Vance explains Trump better than Trump does. Ann is wrong when she said she can't remember a worse VP debate performance. Has she forgotten Vice Admiral James Stockade in 1992?

James Stockdale will forever get a pass as an MOH POW. Just saying.
