So grateful to Ann for being the voice of reason against wake and bake morons since the beginning. I worked with potheads in the entertainment biz who had regular psychotic breaks and behaved abominably. Invariably they refused to consider that pot could have anything to do with it. Thank god researchers are finally getting the real stats out there.

But what were they both doing in their underwear? Is smoking pot more fun just in skivvies? Pot smoking is popular among male homosexuals and lesbians. Just sayin'.

California people doing California things.

Let’s get started building that moat.

What percent of people who smoke or consume marijuana end up with some type of psychosis because of it? I have known more than 100 people who smoked pot in their lives and never has one of them killed or assaulted anyone.

How many of the idiots who attacked the Capitol on January 6th were staunch Trump supporters? Should we paint all Trump supporters with the same brush because of these idiots?

An incredibly small number of police officers kill "unarmed black men" each year. (It should be no news to fellow Coulter fans that a 6' 3'', 290-pound unarmed Michael Brown could kill someone without a weapon.) Does it make any sense to demonize all police officers?

The overwhelming majority of Americans support decriminalizing marijuana for logical reasons. We tried Prohibition with alcohol. It worked out great.... for Al Capone and company.

Even the legendary drunkard author Charles Bukowski hated potheads; he knew they were no good, and his perspectives came from the 1950's and 1960's when pot was dramatically less powerful than it is today. He would say that all of the potheads he knew were "fuck-ups" who couldn't be trusted.

It's been known for a long time that chronic/excessive pot use made a LOT of people crazy; there just haven't been definitive clinical studies on it until fairly recently. And now, with hard scientific data easily available AND the strength of the drug at an all-time high, NOW they want to legalize it.

One of the hazards of living in a free country is that it gives people the freedom to do really, really stupid things and occasionally pass really, really stupid laws.

Maybe David DePape is a pothead, but he was also found almost naked in Paul Pelosi's house and the latter knew him by his first name and called him a friend. So it's more plausible that gay encounter went into pot induced quarrel, than a politically motivated violence.

The gruesome crimes being caused by Marijuana is not believable. You cain't read articles. You're always making a sociopolitical argument. The truth of the reasearch isn't your point but a tool. Makes me mad.😠 You treat history differently.

You're great the rest of the time👍

Oh Yeah! The 60's we're the height of pot smokers! We have been on a downward spiral ever since. Just take a good look at our society now. The Democrat-controlled cities are a sanctuary for pot users and the crimes that go with it. Good job Ann!

Thanks for digging for the real story Ann, way too much media coverup going on around the dangers of marijuana induced psychosis. This is something that definitely needs to be taught in schools. They did such a great job teaching kids to stay away from drugs, then they stupid fools go and legalize marijuana in my state and many others, ruining so many young lives. You wonder why young people don't want to work? Smoking cannabis really does make people less motivated, say scientists. Now here's the scary thing, who else is well known to have been a total pot-head in college? Hint, his name rhymes with Osama...

The question in my mind is whether DePape was inside the residence or outside when he had his psychotic episode. There are likely cameras all over that neighborhood and the Pelosi residence. As far as I can tell from media accounts, he hasn't been charged with any sort of unlawful entry to the residence.

Seems to me this fits the pattern of BlueAnon leftists starting the conspiracy theorizing; and it just never fails that the opposite is probably the truth. The neighbors refer to him as a leftist and "very detached from reality." BlueAnon is so much more the conspiracy folks and so much bigger.

A lot of the theories are stupid, cringe, and most of all, counterproductive. They play into the Dems hands in their portrayal of the Right.

However, even though I agree he was a drug addled lunatic....I do still want to know how he got into their house. That part is still fishy.

It's a well-known fact that the marijuana today is NOT the marijuana of yesterday. It is much more potent and dangerous. If this dude was a pothead, then it is believable that this would be a psychotic episode. BUT why was the Pelosi house not locked down with burglar alarms, etc??

Equally hysterical as the Area 51-type conspiracy theories from the right (?) concerning the Paul Pelosi attack is the liberal nut-job propaganda campaign from the left tying the pot-head's motives to everything Trump related and a grand conspiracy to overthrow the US government.

The same nut-job lefties completely ignore the BLM violence while accusing every soul who even thought of voting MAGA as a modern-day Jacobin-inspired mob.

Yet, unlike a stoner-induced B&E assault, the BLM violence (according to the most forgiving liberal sources) caused at least 19 deaths, 700 injuries to law enforcement personnel and way north of $Billions in property damage.

But ask any Dem or member of the American Pravda and BLM was a peaceful protest while the Pelosi attack was the 2nd front of the January 6 revolution.

I’ve been with you on this. Seen it first hand and the total number of incidents, along with the severity, only gets worse, along with the obvious problem of legalization. And, of course, legal taxed purchasing is not the primary source. But, don’t tell that to the Lib Rags and pundits.
