In a sane nation, all of the liberal media companies would have been shut down decades ago; the Democrat party itself must be shuttered and outlawed and all of their top operatives arrested!

Psycho warmonger RINOs like Lindsey Graham also deserve to be arrested and sent to Gitmo; Thomas Jefferson would agree!

Democracies have been electing evil vegetables like Biden for a century. And yet the human race thinks itself intelligent. Human beings clearly need real and wise leadership or civilizations will vanish. But democracy is here to stay so it will be vanish.

Read Ann Coulter's Demonic: we have mobs taking control too often and Democracy has to ride up and stop them.

It is undoubtedly true that “Democrats are monumental liars,” but that only makes most Republicans second-class liars.

For a Party claiming the bragging rights of representing the masculinity of the US, the GOP leaves me less than “…in awe of their balls-to-the-walls bravery”. Especially since, thus far, it is very uncertain if either chamber of the GOP congress has the balls to even cut NPR funding, let alone any of the other DOGE recommendations and we are not even talking any serious cuts yet.

Talk is cheap and braggadocio is for cowards.

everything that was signed by the autopen is invalid...

pardons, judicial appointments, other appointments, executive orders, and anything signed into law.

and people need to go to prison!

and THEN we need to consider what to do about things Captain Demento might have signed or agreed to because he was so easy to manipulate.

I am so glad that Ms. Coulter called attention to the book Originial Sin and especially that she refrained from attacking its author Jack Tappert on the wearied ground that he himself participated in the campaign to protect Biden on the issue.

It's very disappointing that so many of our colleagues cannot distinguish between what is useful, important and essential and what is not useful.

To have someone who has been a writer for The NY Times and The Atlantic Monthly author this book - now THAT is gold. The same book with the same information written by someone on our side would have only a fraction of the credibility of one written by someone who is not one of us.

Lawyers call this kind of thing "an admission against interest."

But every movement mention of Original Sin I have read up till Ms. Coulter's has featured attacks on Tappert for having collaborated in the cover-up.

The people who wrote these things don't get it.

Ms. Coulter does.

It's her understanding of how to make a case that makes her contributions so useful to us. Why is it that so many of our spokesmen seem never to have figured out how to advance a convincing argument?

By the way, another such book which should be read is entitled Abundance of Caution. That book deals with the liberal estblishment's botched job on the Covid virus.

Like Original Sin, it's written by one of them and not one of us.

That's what makes it so much more powerful and useful.

Thank you Ann for your take on a book I have zero intention of reading. Because I crave the truth, I will take what you say and revel in its presentation and knowingness that the democrats were lying and are still lying. I will pray for Biden but how outrageous and pathetic that the left was in announcing his cancer diagnosis (which apparently was another cover up) as a way to gain sympathy. The Democratic Party is a train wreck.

I'll never forget...

early in the 2024 campaign, a friend from high school who now works in news media stopped by the to visit as he came through town.

at some point, the conversation turned to politics. I think Biden had been at something where he now lived and he had to cover it. when I talked about how Biden OBVIOUSLY had dementia and wasn't mentally competent, my old friend went into media cover-up mode.

pretending complete surprise, he was saying things like "what do you mean? there's nothing wrong with him..." and "he's just got a bit of a stutter, that's all".

The Democrats won’t change because they can’t change—they’re captives of a cult. What used to be a political party has become a loyalty test run by radical ideologues. No matter how blatant the deception, they’ll gaslight the public and each other to protect the narrative. Biden’s cognitive decline was just the latest loyalty oath: if you noticed it, you were the problem. And when the cult’s high priests in the media finally flip the script, the faithful follow without question. This isn’t politics anymore—it’s orthodoxy.

Remember when they 'lost' Lloyd Austin. Two wars going on and they didn't know he was in the hospital. Gaslighting has become a thing of the past and the memory-hole is broken. The Ds are trying to figure out how to get more guys to vote for them. Maybe start with getting rid of the blue hair Charles Manson girls?

Turfseer's avatar

Exactly. The memory-hole is overflowing, and now the cover-ups are so lazy they don’t even bother making them believable. Lloyd Austin goes AWOL during two wars and it barely registers. Meanwhile, the Democrats are still wondering why men are fleeing the party like it’s a burning clown car. Maybe ditch the cult aesthetics—blue hair, nose rings, and 500 pronouns—and start acting like adults in charge of a serious country. But that would require reality-based thinking... which, sadly, has been banned under the current liturgy.

During COVI they said I was 'essential' but all I heard was 'expendable'.

It's actually a bonus that they their so far out in left field, they have no idea how insane they truly are. I worry that they figure it out and drift towards the center where 80% of the normies reside. Fetterman has the key but of course they want to throw him off the island like they did with Al Frankin, Tulsi, and RFK Jr. I'll check out your Newsletter. Peace Out.

I haven't read Tapper's Original Sin but I will now. Nevertheless, I still think you're missing the elephant in the room; it appears Tapper's book is not just a specific indictment of the Biden White House and his so-called politburo but of liberal mass media generally as a wellspring of lies, disingenuousness, and propaganda. How ironic liberal media keeps calling duly elected President Trump the second coming of Hitler when their media outlets are using Josef Goebbels's playbook about The Big Lie. No wonder podcasting has become so popular and lucrative and network news anchors are dropping like flies.

The article is great, as one expects from Ann Coulter, but doesn't the book (I have not read it yet) try to achieve some cover up of the conduct of the traitorous, mob (see Demonic) conduct of much of the media as well. Doesn't it try to shift too much blame onto the Biden administration and the Democrats and make the media look less guilty? The media's main "raison de etre" is to tell the truth and expose this sort of fraudulent, partisan cover up? They (other than a few exceptions like Fox News) betrayed all of us, and should be strongly chastised and punished.

Biden was always a doofus but good on the tele'prompter'. How does someone become a Senator from Delaware, at 29 years old, but grew up in Scranton? The same way carpet baggers Hillary did in NY I guess or Mitt Romney in Utah. Ann you're right the 'media' is in charge and they decide who gets to run DC. Jake (the fake) Tapper was not hired at CNN for his high IQ. In fact all the talking heads must have to take a test regarding their critical thinking skills. Lowest score gets the gig. Orwells 1984 turns 75 this year and todays memory-hole is jammed.

The media are trying very hard to establish as fact that the Biden decline was in the last year, maybe two, of his term. The truth for anyone who was paying attention is he was dementia ridden BEFORE he was “elected”. He couldn’t make a coherent statement then. Thus the cover up was throughout his presidency and the liars were running the government the entire time.
