I can’t be the only person reading the blog out loud people refuse to believe there is a person who actually holds these beliefs.

I will never forget what happened with the 2020 election. I will die on that hill and drag the party down with me if nothing changes.

Greetings Ann. I'm a big fan of yours, read all your books, love your columns and the idea of you doing a podcast is sensational. But I'm curious though: How frequently will the podcasts be uploaded? Because so far there only seems to be just the 2 (from 2 weeks ago) & no others. I hope you'll be uploading more (and soon), as a large part of the reason I subscribed is so that I could listen to your podcasts.

Ann, is there a technical tweak you can do this feed to make my podcast app be able to discover it? When I try to add it in, it cannot find the feed. Perhaps it's because Substack is a subscription.

So here's a thing the GOP could do if it wanted to chip away at black loyalty to the Democrats (and it really only need chip away to have a huge impact): The GOP could have actual clear policy alternatives in the running of cities. The blue cities are (mostly) governance catastrophes, and GOP politicians often say as much, but they (almost) never say what they do differently, except for maybe tax cuts and crushing public employee unions. The Republicans need urban policy initiatives, not because they will actually win big cities, but because in order to chip away at the Dem majorities in the cities (which would flip some states) they need to have something to say other than "we don't have any plan to improve urban governance, but at least we aren't condescending to you," which seems to be the main plan right now. Sadly, crickets.
