Thanks for a lot of eye popping comment. BTW, it was stated succinctly and stylishly. I'm passing a link to the interview (and thus indirectly to your substack, etc.) to a couple of family members hoping to create a contagion of this "redpilling" I'm hearing so much about.
A great, great interview, Ann and Clifton. Thanks Ann for finding such interesting people and then letting them talk. Clifton Duncan was a great interview.
I may be a massive geek, but I've never actually been into video games. although I know people who are and will talk endlessly about them.
so, all I knew about gamergate was that some cranky feminists were complaining about female characters in the game being designed to look hot and sexy...
and by the time it was all over, Sargon of Akkad was a prominent online personality.
I'm LOVING hearing Clifton talk about all these things that are a part of my day to day life and, much of it, Ann is hearing it for the first time. I loved hearing her laugh at the "M-SHE-U".
Thank you Ann and Clifton for this fascinating and honest take on gaming and red pilling. Seems to me: Red pilling is to medicine what red shirting is to sports. A “delay of game” while the ones left behind “catch up.” In sports, red shirting is designed to “lengthen a players time”, their period of eligibility to play (that way the collateral,”buy ins” have more time.) No need to bother with the disparate impact argument then. I heartily laugh at the sports term “True freshman.” Thank you for recognizing the moral panic over race and “spotty” intellectual acumen that was present during the Covid lockdowns. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Thanks for having me on, Ann!

that was a great discussion!

Clifton posted a comment here, which means everyone can reply and tell him how awesome the interview was!
Ann, you should suggest to all your guests that they put a comment after the interview so people can respond to them and thank them for being here.
oh, and if they do, is there a way to pin it to the top of the comments list?
GOOD IDEA!
Ann, Clifton, this was really great. The conversation just flowed, and it covered the most interesting ground.

This is a great crossover episode.
I am SOOOOO pissed to see beloved franchises that I grew up on being DESTROYED by Leftists...
Star Trek
Doctor Who
ALL the Super Hero stuff
Terminator
Star Wars
James Bond
Charlie's Angels
They're threatening Firefly and Stargate...
(I was never a big Indiana Jones fan)
Judging by the box office, you're not the only one!
excellent discussion!

Thank u Ann for this episode!! Clifton told no lies about the failing democrat party to every American.
Clifton is incredibly articulate. Very hard to believe he would not be sought after for voiceover or audiobook work.
Great to see a black perspective. We crackers are just dumb asses.
ohhh! Ann, you should have Carl Benjamin (aka: Sargon of Akkad) on here sometime!
Here's Rucka and Lauren Chen (then known as "Roaming Millennial") performing the "Sargon" song... about gamergate.

apparently, now they're making female characters in video games flat out ugly, so as not to appeal to "the male gaze".
Just when you think you have a good parody of liberals, they beat you to it.
