Subscribed for over 50 years. Dropped the subscription after the fake news filled story about a Brooklyn bar owner who died with Covid. Lies and made up stuff “
Fake news “is the word of the century so far and we all know but won’t mention in Ann’s column who popularized the word.
Ann, I am one of those who have not read a word of the NYT for the past seven or eight years. I began to religiously buy and read it thoroughly in high school (1959-1963) and had continued through my graduate education and career on Wall Street, into the internet era. It became obvious that the entire paper was a collection of opinion pieces masquerading as reportage. The Washington Post is a close second to their absurdly biased “journalism”. Talk about echo chambers.
Thank you for saving me that 6 hours! By the way, Ms. Coulter, I drive a school bus in Texas, and I can tell you our new country is going to be even *greater* than you ever imagined!
My favorite: Too many liberals,” read my notes about the Opinion line-up from a meeting I had with him and Mark Thompson, then the chief executive, as I was preparing to rejoin the paper. “Even [the Times’] conservatives are liberals’ idea of a conservative.”
"As the Inspector General’s report found, no federal law enforcement “gassed” protesters. "
But no problem firing tear gas grenades and flashbang explosive devices into the crowd in front of the Capitol on J6. The CNN lie told to Vivek at the town hall the other day is that the cops were in danger of being overrun. The relevant video showed a only handful of protesters who moved into the ranks of cops before the police assault began -one being a frail-looking granny whom the cops forcefully shoved back into the crowd.
Funny and good writing as always. I just wonder how this same person can be stupid enough to attack pro-lifers this week and make “progressives respond with glee”. So stupid.
I’m sorry, I thought it was a decent piece, making some good points, until he got to the standard BS smear job line about the great Pat Buchanan and then I stopped reading. Leftists and neocons-on Buchanan and all things Southern, Lee, whatever, they are beyond obnoxious.
Thank you Ann for the breakdown of this 17,000 plus word and tentacles crime story. Really. Do not know where to start. Or end. So much to unpack. Information. To unpack. And then. The harder part. Digest. Please pass the Tums……..Will get back to the opinions of the stories 😵💫…..For what it may be worth……..At this point in time…..

Scary.

They got that right.
Bret Stephens, David Brooks, David French....... #smh. The first two fawned over by Hugh Hewitt.
NYT delenda est!

The New York Times where Truth goes to die!
This is pleasingly long, perfect and 100% Ann Coulter classic!

Man what a powerful article with such a subtle reference to Table 43 at its end. Had to even look up what that reference was to. Awesome
Too late. I read the whole thing on the Economist site after you recommended it on Twitter.
When the Taliban commenced the destruction of the Buddhas of Bamiyan in March of 2001 little did I realize it was a graduate course in US journalism.

P.S. I read the entirety of the Economist piece.
The only reason I continue to get the Times is for Bret Stephens, times version of a conservative who in fact is just normal
