A WONDERFUL interview Ann and Heather! Easily one of Ann's very best podcasts so far. I was captivated throughout by the amazing flood of statistical information that is NEVER discussed in legacy media, and these are the essential statistical points that make a critical difference in the crime rates and the quality of life in America.

If we had a functional media, the New York Times would drive truckloads of cash up to your doorstep and beg on bended knee for the publication rights to an unedited transcript of this podcast to publish on the front page. What you and Heather bring forth is the hard data that is intentionally overlooked every single day and, as a result, we are forced to endure a continuously escalating crime rate which is approached with all of the wrong solutions.

My father was a policeman, and I remember during the 1970's 'affirmative action' hiring was beginning and even then there were endless stories of highly-qualified white officers who were passed over again and again and again by MUCH lower-scoring minority candidates, and this got to the point where so many of the best officers would not even bother taking the Sergeant's exam anymore because they knew it would be a waste of time. They lost faith in their calling, and began to just bide their time and wait for retirement. In the 50-odd years since then it's only gotten dramatically worse with Leftist politicians doubling down on endlessly-failed ideas.

Their idea of innovative thinking now is to hire a pimp to advise police.

"Seattle pays ex-pimp $150,000 to offer ‘alternatives to policing’"

https://nypost.com/2020/09/22/seattle-pays-ex-pimp-150000-to-offer-alternatives-to-policing/

That was back in 2020, and now it appears from the video that Memphis is putting badges on gang members.

I do sincerely hope with all of my heart that President DeSantis will be able to turn things around. If not...it's going to get medieval in American cities and as funny as Monty Python's Flying Circus made medieval life look I promise you it's not going to be that way when it happens in the blue cities.

Heather, I confess that I was transfixed by your command of the data and I do hope that you'll be a frequent guest of Ann's. In addition to my appreciation of your intellect, memory and recall I also love your interior design sense in your home. That end table with the giant spear coming out of it is absolutely wonderful and I do hope that it easily detaches so you can use it as a back-up weapon in the event that you run out of bullets when defending against a home invasion. "Heather MacDonald makes short work of robbers in heroic defensive encounter using a designer spear" is the sort of headline that we REALLY need these days. ;-)

the Ashli Babbit case just INFURIATES me to no end.

it's not that he just murdered her, right in front of everyone and a billion phone cameras...

it's that the Left have made a hero out of him.

and they keep saying that she "deserved it"...

Boy, Ithought Ann was best in class for having facts at her fingertips, but McDonald, too, is an unstoppable machine gun of data.. kudos…

I think if anything white cops are more hesitant to use force against black suspects due to potential charges of racism and civil rights violations. Black mayors, majority black city councils and black police chiefs were supposed to turn urban hellscapes into Wakandas. That hasn't happened.

If five black street thugs beat Tyre Nichols to death we wouldn't even know his name. If Tyre Nichols were white we wouldn't know his name and the same media becoming unglued over this would tell us that the white Nichols deserved no sympathy. Like Ashli Babbitt deserved no sympathy. Black skin privilege is real.

Rich white liberals simply sacrifice black people on their altars. Just like the covidians were happy to sacrifice people so they could make money and run experiments on them. Merely for personal gain.

Why, I would like to ask Ilhan Omar and 80 percent (it’s probably closer to 90 or more) of Twin Cities media, has it not been safe to attend any nighttime public event in downtown Minneapolis for most of the past two years? It really is a shame, but I’m glad I’m 68 years old and don’t have any children in the Twin Cities.

I'll have to strongly disagree with Heather MacDonald that a majority of blacks support law and order in the same way white conservatives do. If that were true then why do large numbers of blacks vote for radical pro crime DA's like Larry Krasner of Philly or Alvin Bragg in NYC? Why do blacks continue to vote for the pro crime Democrat party at 90%?

In Illinois the Black Legislative Caucus lobbied for and received the SAFE-T Act which eliminates cash bail for a range of serious offenses. This was done because cash bail was deemed "racist" because blacks were disproportionately locked up in jail and unable to make bail.

Blacks appear to have been receptive to a law and order message in the 1990's but no longer. Now far left media outlets and black influencers have convinced them that laws keeping their communities safe and improving quality of life are designed to target and imprison blacks and police forces are just glorified slave patrols.

Why talk about training? Too discuss this incident in the context of training is unbelievable. Training is discussed so as to NOT talk about these five animals being black. That’s who they are. That’s who they were when they were hired. That’s how they went about their job. Anybody think you can train people to have a conscience? Yea let’s get some classes on morality, respect for life as part of academy training. These were minority hire thugs and this is what we’re going get the more whites grovel. Without that pole camera these animals would have conspired to cover this up. This is who they are. Nobody was ever going to see what they did except for the pole camera. Why didn’t any other responding officers do something? Because the thugs are in charge. Any white police chief, of which there are few, would have been fired before the thugs were fired. The female black police chief is being praised. For what? This is going to devolve into white American policing being institutionally racist which compromised these five officers. Without the institutional white racist influence they would not have beat this guy to death. Yea.

Literally, looks like a female version of Mickey Kaus, down to mannerisms. Equally smart, to be sure but… An odd synchrony here.

What to say after the fascination of spending the last hour listening not only to the 2 most intelligent women in the country but probably the two most intelligent people in the country having a FACT BASED DISCUSSION. Talk about an endangered species!

I do have a persistent thought and, perhaps, question.

Heather said, "If you live in a world where crime is rampant, you understand it in a way where whites just don't"

Is an upper-middle class white not living in that world when he/she takes the Times Square shuttle from GC to catch the Q train for a quick trip to the Upper East Side? You are never at ease out and about in NYC just as you are never at ease driving on any roadway surrounded by judgement proof, uninsured, careless lunatics who may also be in stolen vehicles with illegal firearms.

And "judgement-proof" is the conundrum for those of us who are not judgement-proof in these and similar situations. For an upper-middle class white, to legally defend oneself against an illegal or just insane act where the perpetrator with no skin in the game, and no matter the outcome, will suffer no real consequences for their offense but most certainly leaves that victim in a sea of personal, civil and criminal consequences which most definitely will be prosecuted to the fullest extent by the law and the "advocates".

So what are the differences between the black and white understanding of rampant crime.

"A police officer is 400 TIMES as likely to be killed by a black male as an unarmed black is to be killed by a police officer." And while I do not have the statistics, but worked in Philadelphia for many years - and MOST of the crime that occurs is black males on black males with guns, knives and blunt force trauma. And copying Larry Elder's quote on Twitter: "“There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about a robbery. Then (I) look around and see someone white and feel relieved.” — @RevJJackson, 1993
