Being 14 years old in 1978 and just having attended Bar/Bat Mitzvahs the year before for my Jewish friends in Wilmette IL, down the road from Skokie, I remember feeling unsure what to say but as a man, I'm proud to stand with the Jewish community and Israel against antisemitism and the modern-day Nazis.
