I heard this immigrant crime study trumpeted by some Leftist cable show this week. It's not the usual Texas DPS study [mis]cited by immigration apologists but hails the same conclusion.
I've not had time to unravel it, but its claim to novelty is that it relies on conviction data to conclude immigrants commit fewer crimes than white and black citizens. Notably, it expressly excludes immigration and "low level" crimes from its data set - the latter b/c it claims such crimes are often dishonestly charged, for some reason.
I hope Ann has a chance to study it pre-Dallas. Having followed Ann forever, she's likely got it down pat. But I was unaware of this one.
