The NYTs article you cite is behind a paywall. Are you now a marketing rep for the NYTs?

My professional observation is that rampant drug use was going on nationally before and after Donald Trump. It'll be far worse if "Biden" (or whoever is running the country into the ground) gets another 4.

I obviously am a big fan of Ann’s but I don’t understand this story. The guy became a meth user. Because of the lock downs I guess is the point. Got caught by some terrible people. Not sure because we have to go and pay the New York Times to read the whole story. I guess Ann is reminding us that Trump was the first to push Fauci. Yep. This was a big mistake. But I still give Trump a pass because he was the one first handed the bomb and told to fix it. I believe he did the best he knew how to do. At that time. Drugs in times of extreme circumstances have a history of good intentions creating more harm than good.

First to push Fauci? Hardly. Fauci became head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in 1984, and I think by 2016 was the highest paid Federal employee. Sure there were a few people, like RFK Jr., who knew what a weasel Fauci was, but most in the circles of power considered Kennedy a nutcase anti-vaxxer, though he knew a hell of a lot more on the subject than they did. Trump had touted Kennedy during the 2016 campaign, but was warned off by health specimen (the kind found in hospital bedpans, not gyms) Bill Gates, and then Pfizer paid a million dollars for one of Trump's inaugural balls. But I guess any other Republican elected president would have told Gates and Pfizer to F-off.

I generally agree with the point you’re making. I meant I think very few in the general population knew who Tony the Fixer was. I think Trump didn’t know. I think he knew Little Tony was the head of virology so he was the man to fix it. And Little Tony talks a good game. Credit to the enemy, he never backs down or backs off. The only reason we know who he is now is because he has left the trail of dead and dying that everyone can see.

I never bought the whole lock down thing. The speed that supposedly free people conformed to the mask-lock-down-nightmare was scary. I have Libtard relatives that modeled their designer masks like they were attending fashion week. The whole fiasco made me want to vomit.

I'm left wondering what happened to the formerly feisty but "humble enough to admit a mistake" Ann Coulter Some of the things happening on this site including involuntary diversion to sites in which I'm not interested in monetary investment, as well as this new fondness for the gaslighting NYTs, makes me wonder if "Unsafe' is going the way of Drudge. They say Soros is buying up conservative media radio stations in an effort to purge conservative voices. Is something similar happening here? Any response Ms. coulter?

Donald Trump had nothing to do with the lockdowns or with any homeless people dying. Trump left the matter of lockdowns up to the states. Unlike Biden (or more accurately, the people behind him calling the shots) Trump didn't execute his office like a dictator. Biden's handlers run the executive branch like an emperor. Inserting Trump's name into the story's slug is just vitriolic, inaccurate, and frankly a cheap shot unworthy of you.

It's like saying Alex Jones had something to do with Sandy Hook.

I've got a new book idea for you. Your best talent (besides looking hot) is writing. A new book about Woke, DEI, and these ridiculous lawfare cases against Trump is definitely in order. The E. Jean Carroll case, Fani Willis case, Jack Smith case, and Leticia James cases, should all be part of a new book from your pen. You can include a section on the MAL raid. Your books are always well-documented, and a book detailing these cases and activities by the Deep State would do the country a great service in documenting exactly why all these cases are 100% pure, steaming piles of bullshit.

Ann, so many of your fans who love and adore you (like me!) want you to quit acting like the scorned girlfriend when it comes to Donald Trump. Many of those who follow you know your numero uno (to use a little of the new language being foisted on all of us) gripe is his not finishing the wall. I've shared in other posts my theory that he might've gotten the wall built by declaring the project a national security threat. That might have bypassed the judges and lawyers. If we somehow overcome all the cheating and Trump wins in November, maybe we'll get to see him take this tact or something similar to accomplish the mission.

I'm not a lawyer. You are, but on a related topic, I think that if Trump is going to successfully deport 5-10 million of illegals using the laws already on the books, he'll have to find a way of stopping these Third World leeches (yes, that's what they are) from obtaining "free" legal representation.

Even if Trump wins, he'll have to have a Republican-controlled Congress (and ideally the Senate too) if he's going to push his America-First agenda through. And even then, we'll need another 4 presidents just like him in the America-First model of domestic and foreign policy to reverse the horrible Thelma and Louise race to the canyon the globalists have this nation on.

If Trump doesn't win, America is finished short of a more persuasive strategy being mounted by the right.

The senseless death of America is what we're witnessing. The homeless crisis, the drugs, the crime, and other societal horrors we're witnessing, is the primrose path to serfdom the elites have cooked up for America and Americans. Doesn't it smell wonderful? Just like the streets of San Francisco! Wokeness and DEI is the equivalent of a cultural fentanyl and meth that's destroying this nation. And what's so sad about all of this is that It's preventable. All we have to do, (easier said than done) is forget about what color we are, what sex we are, and rally around the one flag that represents all of us, the flag our forefathers died to have as our national symbol, the flag the globalists want to replace with the rainbow flag, because Old Glory stands for everything we hold dear that the globalists and anti-humans hate.

"The Senseless Death of America" can be the title of your other new book. In it, you can talk about woke ideology, BLM, CRT, DEI, LGBT, the coordinated lawfare against white America, Donald Trump, women, children, and the push by globalists to destroy the Middle Class and reduce the entire country to Third World uneducated, tribal, racist, idiots.

So the lockdowns forced this man to smoke meth? Are you kidding me? What happened to personal responsibility?

I don’t care WHAT bad thing happens to you, there is never an excuse to smoke meth. think of all the people in this world who have had f***ed up sh*t happen to them but they STILL didn’t turn to hard drugs to deal with their problem. Sorry, but if you choose to do hard drugs that’s 100% YOUR fault, you made that choice

The only take-away I am getting from this piece is: (1) to continue never paying the NYT's or any other propaganda rag a dime and (2) that since drug dealers are not only murdering individuals but civilization as a whole, they should be subject to very swift capital punishment.

I knew the lockdowns for kids was bullshit. My kids wrestle year round and we had a private club to go to that never closed. We didn’t miss a beat!

Paywalled; but the story is no doubt similar to those chronicled in The Least of Us, by Sam Quinones. Today's meth induces longer lasting and more acute psychosis due to an ingredient shift from ephedrine to P2P. Essentially, the chemicals themselves cause brain damage. This distinguishes the modern recipe from the 90's party drug, whose effects were generally ephemeral and caused by lack of sleep.

Purposelessness hits white men particularly hard. Our restless nature compels us to dull the pain of mere existence.

Whew--"Purposelessness " as an excuse to make your life and the life of your family and friends into a hellscape seems like an unethical cop out to me.

Purposelessness is an explanation not justification.

Thank you again Ann for the Covid follow up. There was nothing surprise/sneak about the attack on the “old” people in Seattle area when Covid began. It was carefully orchestrated. I believe Fauci is responsible. In time, we American citizens and others will all know more of the truth of how deals (with the devil) are made. I believe President Trump exercised restraint in the midst of the Covid chaos. So Sad.

Thank you Ann for follow up on the covid lockdowns. Who were “they” pretending/appearing to protect?” Last sentence of the NT Times articles from D. Barry, (etc.) re: the island and misery is well worth a re-read……

When God refers to us (He would know, IMHO) as 'sheep', and that's the nicest thing we get called collectively, well, you get the idea. We collectively act like sheep.

So, I'm not at all surprised DJT got sucked in by The Blob or surprised that said Blob treats us all as host animals for their use. (The Blob is a term coined by Ben Rhodes; for more definition please see Mike Benz on X (@mikebenzcyber) or at The Foundation for Freedom website).

There's a lot more in this boiling pot, most of it very unsavory.

Thank you for your candid assessments of our collective behaviors, Ann. Always refreshing.
