I read her last article and the supplementary articles included are all right. The hush money contract in itself is legal, and falsification of business records, at worst, is a misdemeanor, according to NY law. To put the icing on the cake, the judge over the case made illegal campaign donations which should force him to be recused. Of course, the jury will declare him guilty, but I don’t see this going anywhere. Thanks for the content, Ann!

Right. For example, after the verdict where did Trump go for love and affection? To the UFC championship fights and its 16,000 working class male fans, who unanimously cheered him.

Not too many “Uncle Sols” go to that venue, friends. Nor NY Times subscribers.

Regardless of political party even a non-lawyer can see multiple targets for appeal. Trump’s personality turns most sane people off .. but choosing between Douche- Bag and a Dementia patient .. I’ll take the DB every-time. I was unaware of Dinesh D'Souza’s legal problems, never saw the movies, he always came across as a snake oil salesman.

Ann, thank you so much for this! I sincerely hope that, as the subtitle "The Pilot Episode" implies, you do indeed plan on making "Four Things You Need To Know This Week" a regular, weekly feature. I love your regular Substack podcasts with guest interviews, but I must confess that I have always felt that you're at your very best when it's just you talking to us on your own, unencumbered by any need to keep a conversation focused on a guest's area of expertise. Knowing that we can count on you for the definitive take on issues of the day every Sunday evening or Monday would be a wonderful 'anchor' to rely on in this turbulent, Dark Age of perpetual media hysteria and outright lies that has come to define these modern times.

I would probably not have heard the Biden advertisement, at least not in full, if you hadn't included it and I find it quite telling that every single bullet point they're using...every single one...has been either taken completely out of context or disproven endlessly over the course of YEARS. Since major political ads are rigorously and painstakingly focus-grouped as well as being placed under a high-powered microscope by probably a hundred or more people before it's released, it naturally makes one wonder if they are doing this because they have such a breathtakingly low opinion of the intelligence of their target audience and their disinterest in critical thinking or they simply don't have anything better and know their media buddies will play along and will never call them out...or maybe both?

Regardless, thank you again for spending the considerable time and effort that you do in bringing us such great content. You are truly one of the rare beacons of sanity in this Age Of Lunacy that we find ourselves in.

That movie 2000 mules convinced a ton of people the election was stolen. This needs to be shown on the news. Enough is enough with stolen election lies. And honestly, Trump has told so many lies he’s just a hypocrite at this point. I will never vote Dem but Trump has been awful for the GOP

For the third presidential election in a row I'll be doing a write-in ballot. I think Trump and Biden lack the character and leadership necessary for the country. I'm most afraid of Trump who if elected is likely to sell Ukraine down the river just to get the Noble Prize.

Thank you Ann for The 4 Things to Know Pilot! Great! In re: hatred for Trump, Jewish or otherwise: America is having an identity crisis. Our Republic is at stake. Whether we worship at a church, mosque, synagogue, or temple, America has no second class faiths. All are equal under the U.S. Constitution. As Christians, we must all speak in one voice condemning Christian nationalism as a distortion of the gospel of Jesus and a threat to American democracy.(CACN). Post Covid one should attend a service in person to absorb what is now taking place in our places of worship.

We must understand CN differently. Any form of nationalism will exclude a section of the population; in America, that's a huge section. For example, it's hard to see how Catholics and Jews fit into the preferred cultural model. You can say those people should be ostracized, ejected, killed or whatever, but that would be challenging. Also weird and cruel.

That's a unique take on the visceral nature of Jewish hatred for Trump. I always pegged it to his association with nationalism.

I've often said that your average GOP congressman is milquetoast middle management. He just wants to be left alone to do the bidding of his corporate sponsors. But "pussy" fits better. It explains his penchant for being bullied by his Democrat colleagues. The Republicans are bullied because they are pussies.

Would that more folks would simply look at the exit polls before spouting conspiracy theories about Trump's 2020 loss. "Black unemployment is at a historic low!" Trump crowed daily for four years. But it wasn't dispossessed blacks who elected him in 2016.

A question to any who can give insight - a FIFTH thing we need to know this week: can Biden give "MASS Amnesty" or essentially a mass pardon to all the illegals he let into our country? If so, is there a remedy? If he's too impaired to stand a trial (per Hur) isn't he too impaired to be giving out amnesty? OR if he is quickly impeached, (which maybe could happen given that some moderate DEMS don't like the immigration stats) can his move to grant amnesty be "revoked?"

It's my belief that Biden has been nothing more than a figurehead/puppet to a Potemkin administration since day one, with actual decision-making being led by the Clintons, Obamas and George Soros for major decisions and a coven of hard-Left/NWO apparatchiks for day-to-day operations. We are currently living in a post-Constitutional America, as evidenced by Obama's corruption of the FBI to serve his political needs as well as their eagerness to completely dissolve our country's borders, flood the country with illiterate/ anti-American ferals who are accustomed to voting for people like Hugo Chavez, and prosecute or jail troublesome political opponents who are deemed a threat, on entirely illegitimate and manufactured charges.

That being said, it's my belief that Biden's handlers will simply do whatever the hell they want in order to serve their strategic goals; the Constitution and the Rule Of Law be damned. It has been demonstrated so many times that they can do precisely that with zero repercussions. If one day they can't pump enough meds into Biden for him to sit up for the cameras they'll either use AI tech to maintain the illusion of functionality for as long as they can or quietly remove him and put someone else in his place.

The elites can rape children on a remote island and not have a care in the world about being prosecuted for it for God's sake; something like granting full citizenship and voting rights to the worst Third World deadbeats, criminals and terrorists that have been ushered into our welcoming country will not cause them a moment's concern.

Sorry to paint such a depressing picture of the world, Mary. I wish that I wasn't so blackpilled and my greatest wish Is that I'll be proven completely wrong.

Like Ann and I'm guessing you as well Mary, I love America like the stars love the sky and I truly believe that the USA, in the form envisioned by our Founding Fathers, is humanity's greatest achievement and I want her to succeed with all of my heart and with every fiber of my being. I won't lose my optimism as long as I draw breath and I hope others will feel the same way. America is worth fighting for.

Yes, I totally agree - Biden is an absolute puppet (a Charlie McCarthy "dummie"). He reads, or misreads, whatever is on the teleprompter. It's not clear how the puppeteers continue to get away with all of this as well. It is extremely frustrating to watch and feel helpless to not be able to intervene. (And his wife is facilitating all of it!)

As you noted previously, we ARE living in an age of lunacy - and President Biden (and whoever has their hand up the back of his coat) seems to go un-checked. It's inconceivable to me that the Congress & the Supreme Court rules against his canceling students' debts - but he/they does it anyhow. (I hate sounding like a progressive with pronouns!) Even Nancy Pelosi said the "House" controls the purse (at least when she was Speaker). The Dems are destroying the Constitution while screaming about "preserving democracy."

There are laws about immigration and he/they flounts them - daring anyone to stop him. Who's job it is to "arrest" him for what he is doing. EVERYONE sees it. Listening to Alejandro Mayorkas makes me apoplectic. He is an intelligent man but lies so easily - so many of the people surrounding Biden are avid liars.

There is a lot of ambiguity in the Constitution, it seems.

"When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Jumping down a bit:

Article Two, Section Four of the United States Constitution provides that: "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High crimes and Misdemeanors.

Who decides if letting millions of illegal, unvetted aliens is treason or, at least, a high crime and misdemeanor? All of this, including ALL of what you mentioned above is certainly "high crime and misdemeanor." How can this one man, this one clearly affected by dementia, be allowed to give blanket pardoning to millions of illegal aliens? Even Nazi Germany had the Nuremberg trials and held the Nazi leaders accountable.

I saw this on Cornell's Legal website: "Whoever organizes or helps or attempts to organize any society, group, or assembly of persons who teach, advocate, or encourage the overthrow or destruction of any such government by force or violence; or becomes or is a member of, or affiliates with, any such society, group, or assembly of persons, knowing the purposes thereof—

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction."

Stoat, I agree with you, we cannot give up on America - and no taking red or black pills. In my mind, without having a belief in God, nothing is worthwhile. Good old Job in the Bible was pitiful - lost everything (his family, his wealth, his health) and said, "I know that my redeemer lives,and that in the end he will stand on the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God." (Job chapter 19) Thank you for your response - I, too, believe America is worth fighting for. You and Ann both belong in Congress.

Thank you Mary for your kind words. 🥰 I wouldn't last in Congress because I don't have the patience or the deviousness to survive there. Also, they don't allow stoats to hold elected office. 😉 Ann has said that a woman shouldn't be VP but I don't know how she feels about Congress

Odd that 2000 Mules showed Mark Andrews dropping ballots from five family members in a single drop box, as Andrews doesn't seem to meet the movie's definition of a mule (IIRC, someone had to visit 10 boxes to be considered a mule). According to the still available trailer, the average mule visited 24 drop boxes; one drove across six counties visiting 27 boxes in the course of a single night.

Of course, there were many other irregularities in 2020. In Pennsylvania, for example, the Democrat governor and courts extended the deadline to receive absentee and mail-in ballots and dismissed signature authentication procedures for absentee and mail-in ballots, something only the legislature could do under the commonwealth’s constitution.

Nationwide, Spybook's Mark Zuckerburg spent $400 million to "help" fund elections, in part by putting up unmonitored drop boxes, including in Wisconsin. Four years too late, according to AP: "Private money to fund elections will be banned in Wisconsin after voters approved a constitutional amendment Tuesday put forward by Republicans in reaction to grants received in 2020 that were funded by donations from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg."

Then there was the Deep State campaign (51 former intelligence officers!, plus all the state-run media) to conceal the crackpiper's laptop evidence of foreign bribes to the Biden Crime Family.

So sure there was cheating both wholesale and retail, but was it enough to change the results? According to Ron Unz, absolutely: "Incumbent Donald Trump lost Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin by such extremely narrow margins that a swing of less than 22,000 votes in those crucial states would have gotten him reelected. With a record 158 million votes cast, this amounted to a victory margin of around 0.01%. Nobody has to like Trump, and I sure hate his backing of Bribedman's policies on Ukraine (a major player in Trump's first impeachment) and Israel, but there's little doubt the 2020 election was stolen.
