WHY DON'T DEMOCRATS CARE ABOUT DEAD KIDS?

They could prevent mass shootings tomorrow if they wanted to

The only policy that has ever been shown to reduce the incidence and casualty figures from mass shootings (thus, making them non-mass shootings) is concealed carry laws. (To be fair, my policy of locking up dangerous psychos hasn’t been tried since the 1960s.)

Merely allowing those who are already concealed carry permit holders to carry in GUN FREE zones not only costs nothing, but it means that — unlike an armed security officer — aspiring mass shooters have no idea who has a gun.

Mass shooters may be crazy, but they’re not stupid. Noticeably, they always seem to choose “Gun Free Zones” (also known as “Restaurant Lobster tanks”), such as post offices (remember “Going Postal”?), churches, temples, shopping malls and schools, schools, schools.

In 2012, the (obviously crazy) James Holmes dyed his hair orange, dressed up as “The Joker,” went to a showing of “Batman” at an Aurora, CO movie theater, and started shooting everyone in sight.

In a wild coincidence, inexplicable to the gun-grabbers, he did not go to movie theaters showing “Batman,” that were closer to where he lived. He did not choose larger theaters where there would have been more victims.

No, out of six nearby theaters showing “Batman,” Holmes picked the one with a posted “No Guns” sign.

Crazy, not stupid.
