The U.S. used to be a safe haven for writers, refugees, religious minorities, women, etc etc. But then we had to have mass immigration from the third world, with particular preference for the violent, the primitive, the superstitious, the vastly expensive, the unskilled and the low-I.Q.

Fifty year ago, none of Matar’s relatives were within six thousand miles of America. Only a massive government program intentionally designed to dramatically alter the population of America, pursued relentlessly for half a century and funded by U.S. taxpayers, could place the likes of Hadi Matar on the stage of the Chautauqua Institution in Western New York in 2022.
America-born Leftists descended from Europeans are no less of an actual threat to Americans than Jihadists.
Ann Coulter was attacked by white Leftists while onstage giving a speech at a University, one of those places formerly known as an 'institution of higher education'. Although they only carried pies, they could have just as easily been carrying buckets of acid, knives or other lethal weapons. Thankfully they missed their target completely (I think Ann had described them at the time as 'throwing like girls') and Patriot audience members pursued the assailants outside as they attempted to flee as the cowards they are, and beat the hell out of the Leftist trash before they were dragged away by police. This happened years ago, and the question is: Do you think American Universities have gotten more welcoming of non-Marxist speakers since then? I don't think so. Instead, the professors have doubled down on shrill Marxist politics and openly-racist antiwhite rhetoric. The difference between American Universities that churn out low-I.Q. violent Marxist zealots by the thousands and Third World madrassas that churn out violent jihadists by the thousands grows smaller every year.
Many (most?) Leftists have replaced religion in their lives with politics, and just like Jihadists who are animated entirely by their religion which brings them to violence, politics animates Leftiists and frequently brings them to violence as well. By all means, be wary of violent immigrants but pay similar attention to the homegrown variety...they will kill you just as dead.
Multi-culturalism is a load of crap...it is the Balkanization of America. Culture is not a street of diverse restaurants...There is only one American cultural and that is a fervent belief in and practice of the rights and liberties enshrined in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights...the most glorious and sacred achievements of mankind. If one is not guided by these beliefs there is no place on US soil for that person. It is that simple.
