Excellent documentary, except for the preposterous idea that the purpose of prison is to “rehabilitate” irredeemable predators, and miraculously make them into “new men,” rather than their actual purpose, which is to keep them the f—k away from us.

Jack the Bipper has been arrested 44 times for major crimes in San Francisco since 2014, when Prop 47 passed. He never spent a day in prison — he gives a shout-out to SF Mayor London Breed and D.A. Brooke Jenkins for that — until after this documentary was shot, when he finally got 4 years, of which he will probably serve about 2 weeks.
