Not to mention they actually conveyed complex emotion and were often sensuous without being explicitly sexual—concepts Hollywood directors of the past decade have completely thrown out the window. My last note on Delon is that he came out in full support of the far right in his twilight years; he didn’t exactly appreciate the Islamification of his native Paris.
